I purchased the bed restraints because my bed does not have a headboard and we were looking for a discreet way to add some bondage into our playtime. These are great for that purpose. Not only are these discreet, they are also very simple to set up and use. The straps were easily adjustable for different sized beds and various heights. The simple design means that they also travel well, so we can even take them on vacation with minimal difficulty if we want. Usually, we just leave them right under the mattress, ready for any moment's notice.

The restraint system also offers some variety. The adjustable straps allow you to be creative and try different positions. It doesn't have to be simply hands to headboard, etc. Although finding new positions may require creativity and a bit more work, the adjust-ability of the tethers and cuffs does allow for a few different approaches. The cuffs detach and can be used on their own or with other products as well. Don't expect solid leather cuffs, but the Velcro and neoprene cuffs do provide a secure, comfortable restraint. If you want to escape, they aren't impossible to get out of, but if you are secured properly you will have to work for it.

One problem I did have with the restraints was that sometimes they would slip along the mattress and become a little looser than intended. Getting and keeping a thoroughly taut restraint was sometimes a little difficult. But that might have been because the mattress was slightly too short for the person being restrained on it, partly because the person may have yanked a little hard, and partly because we didn't always re-tighten the straps for every session. But even with the occasionally loosening restraints, these ties were a lot of fun to use.

Although I think this set is a great bondage tool for beginners, it is definitely more for beginners. If you are looking for something a little rougher or more advanced, this may not be for you.
