No heart imprint, but fun nonetheless!

The Heart Slapper is a simple, straight forward flogger that gives a nice sting. When the leather meets the skin, the two pieces hit together to create an auditory thrill. The heart itself is very subtle created by two different edges where the two ends of the leather come together. While it doesn't leave a heart shaped imprint, the leather is sure to leave a pink ass and a lot of moans.

Use

This whip is designed for close proximity. A sharp twist of the wrist will be required. As there is no distinct handle, holding it can be a bit tricky. A defined sting on the ass makes this whips presence known. But the simplicity of the design is one that both beginners and advanced users alike will enjoy using.

Design / Craftsmanship / Size / Material / Features

The heart on this toy is rather subtle, where the two areas overlap you can see on the rougher side of the leather a heart shape. The design is very straight forward. One solid strip of leather, folded around a metal o-ring with one metal stud to keep it together. The simplicity is well done though and the craftsmanship is solid. The material is leather and has a very subtle smell to it, as most leather does have. The leather that actually hits the skin is smooth and provides a nice sting when it meets the skin.

Performance

Getting used to holding this is a bit tricky at first, as there is no definite handle. I keep the O-ring in the palm of my hand and grasp my fingers around the leather. A snap of the wrist and the two pieces create a nice cracking sound when it meets flesh. The leather is moderately stiff though, so I'll trace the curves of my partner's ass, down his thighs, and then suddenly snap it against his ass. The sensations this can create are very nice.

The metal O-ring, while it wouldn't be advised striking your partner with it, I do like to trace it along his skin when it's cold to send shivers up his spine. After I've been holding it awhile, I'll repeat the same lines but the o-ring is then very warm from my own body heat.

Care and Maintenance

The toy is well constructed so care should include use leather cleaner and then a leather moisturizer to maintain the material.

P.S. I find the whole design of this thing a little weird...Why is there a ring, rather than a handle? Is it meant to attach to the end of something else? I'm confused!

A handle would definitely be nice on this!

Hi guys and BD, thanks for the review.

I'll try to address the design questions if I may. The ring is essentially a hanging loop. There's no handle, because we were trying to hit a price point, which wouldn't have been possible if we'd used more leather. The Arrow and Heart slappers retail around ten bucks, which is pretty affordable, I think. We do have another paddle, the Imp, which is similar to this, though wider, with a nice curvy handle. That goes out closer to thirty.

Best way to hold this piece (for me at least) is to place the ring in the palm of the hand, index finger lies along the leather and the three remaining fingers fold back over the ring. You can hold it pretty loosely and still have lots of control.

    Hope that helps!

Props for describing how the heart shape is achieved. That's a pretty interesting concept, too bad it didn't work perfectly.
