No Pain, No Gain Right?... RIGHT?!
I was actually really disappointed in this product. I'm not going to lie. I mean, I was expecting something half decent, but it wasn't even that. I mean, it's not that exciting for one thing, and another, it was a painful experience, and not the kind of pain I enjoy. Pros:
It looked amazing and gave the experience that bondage cop/criminal feel.
Cons:
It hurts, it's a weak material, it broke multiple times, it fastens too tightly.
I love the fact that it keeps the feel of real handcuffs, and that it's silver in color. I'm really not crazy about the fluffy love cuffs, it freaks me out. However, it worked for its intended use, of course. :) There are multiple ways to use it, you can loop them around a headboard if you have posts, you can lock your partner up doggy style and have a role-playing night as officer and criminal.
My sensory experiences were mixed. I mean, I loved the look of them, but I really wasn't crazy about the feeling. It felt like they were cutting into my wrists a good portion of the time and I had to take them off after a short while.
My body reacted negatively I would say. The handcuffs fastened much too tightly and cut off circulation in my hands, and caused a lot of irritation around my wrists. The part it played in my sexual experience was one of, torture, because that was what we were doing at the time. But to be honest, I would have enjoyed the experience more if it hadn't hurt so much.
I DID use it in conjunction with other toys, my girlfriend and I used them with our strap on. I really didn't enjoy the experience, and it was BECAUSE of the handcuffs. The handcuffs are made of a lightweight metal, aluminum I'm guessing, nothing too strong because they broke more than once. As for cleaning, there wasn't any.
It was a really big letdown. I was excited, here I was practically bouncing around the house squealing about my new toy. This was the first time we used it and it was really disappointing. Not to mention it BROKE, ruining the mood completely. I am definitely displeased with the makers and the product.
In conclusion, I would NOT recommend this product to anyone else.

I think it's mostly going to depend on your pain tolerance. Metal cuffs have the potential to be very painful, and some people enjoy that while others prefer something that hurts less.

How did they break? Did the chain between the cuffs break, or did one of the cuffs break? It's good to know that the cuffs broke, but it'd help if we knew what happened to cause it and what part was the "weakest link," heh.
Do the cuffs only have one tightness setting when closed? Is that why they cut into your wrists? Are the keys easy to use?
The chain in the middle broke the first time, the second time, it was one of the cuffs.
No, they didn't have only one tightness, but they wouldn't fasten until it was too tight for my wrists.
And no, the cutting was caused by the rubbing, they moved around a lot when they were looser and dug in and it was really unpleasant.
For the most part the keys worked alright, but after a while they got really difficult.
