No tie no tease please!

When it comes to beginner BDSM kits, there are better ones on the market then this one. Each of the of products included have something rather problematic with them and the price for them all really makes no sense. You are mostly paying for the name on the box if that is something that matters to you.

Use

The Nick Hawk Tie Me Up and Tease Me Kit by Cal Exotic, is a light BDSM kit meant to do just as the box says tie up your partner and tease them. It includes a set of stainless steel kegal balls, tickling feather, blindfold and 20 feet of silicone rope.

For those who are just dipping their toes into the world of BDSM I could recommend this to them, though for experienced players there is not a lot of substance to this kit that could keep them interested. I will say aside from the packaging, all couples could certainly use this as it really doesn't come down to being gender specific thanks to the black color of the toys.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

Because this kit has 4 bits to it I am going to break this down by each one.

Stainless Steel Kegal Balls

Woah are these balls tiny! I wish I could have gotten an exact size on them but my measuring tape was far to big to even do that. Yes they are made of stainless steel which is an upside for use and cleaning, but the fact that these are so small makes them very hard to retrieve from your body when done. Because I couldn't measure them here is a size comparison with a tube of chap stick.

Size Comparison

Tickling Feather

Again! Why so small? This feather comes in at just over 4inches with out the 'handle' and is pushing 7 when I enter that into account. It is very soft and looks very lovely however, the black feathers take up most of the design but there is one small brown spotted one in the middle to give it a bit of an accent. Because its meant for light touching it should last quite long, but I would keep it out of the reach of any cats...they will pounce on this.

Blindfold

The blindfold felt like an odd mix of plastic and the fabric they use on recyclable grocery bags. One side of it has soft pin prick holes which allow the light to come in, so it hardly blinds you when you use it. More makes everything fuzzy if you have any sort of light source on during play.

Silicone Rope

The upside to all the small things? You get 20 feet of silicone rope! Which you can always choose to keep at that length or easily cut down into two 10 foot pieces if you choose. I wasn't sure if the rope was actually silicone or not as it seems to stick to itself and had a slightly sweet scent to it. So I gave it the flame test, and it passed.

Performance

For me, this did not work very well. Again I will be breaking it down by each item in the kit and how they worked.

Stainless Steel Kegal Balls

So they are small right. So small that for me, I nearly couldn't get them out of me after I had finished trying them out. Yes I could feel them move around quite well inside of me which did cause my muscles to tighten up. But the fact that I had to pretty much fish them out of my body afterwards was not fun.

Tickling Feather

For those who are into very light sensation play this is perfect, it super soft on the skin teasing and tickling wherever you or your partner want. I found that the softness of the feather actually worked and even though I am not into tickling, it was a nice sensation depending on where it was on my skin rather then feeling like someone was attacking me with a feather from a boa.

Blindfold
It certainly folds well, but blind this does not unless you close your eyes after putting it on. It just made things blurry when I had even the smallest amount of light (be it natural or artificial_ to pour into the room. In total darkness it would be great, but only then. It was also rather loud on my face when the slightly plastic side would crinkle and made me feel like I was wearing part of a bag on my face.

Silicone Rope

The rope is very easy to use, kind of. I say kind of because while it is a very safe body material you want to be very careful with it when you use it. The silicone bit into my skin, it caught my hair every chance I got, and if you tie it too tight it cuts off circulation! So I really cannot say that this is safe to use if you are just learning how...or at least have a pair of EMT scissors near by to cut your partner out of it if their limbs start turning purple.

Care and Maintenance

The stainless steel balls and the rope both can easily be cleaned with either soap and water, toy cleaner or you can boil them to totally sanitize them. The feather and the blindfold both abosorb body fluids very easily so you can wipe them down but there is no way to sanitize them after use or if you plan to use them with another partner.

As for storage, because of how small things are its easy to toss into a drawer but I would recommend finding a little pouch for at least the blindfold, feather and balls because they are so small you don't want to lose them sifting around through where you store your toys.

Packaging

All of it was packaged in a simple paper board box, that is anything but discreet. On the front the name is proudly emblazoned with whom I can only assume is Nick Hawk on the front. Telling you what the toys name is and that he is part of a Showtime show called Gigolos.

On the back it tells you what is included in the box in 5 different languages, but no place on or in the box does it tell you how to use the products. Inside they are all packaged in their own bit of plastic to keep the from touching one another, but that is it. I kind of wish they had spent more money on putting good information on the packaging for users and less money putting Nick Hawks face on it.

Personal comments

I thought I would use this small space, to let people know just who Nick Hawk is. Because his name is after all on the product! It took me one simple Google search to find out that yes he is on a Showtime program called Gigolos which has been on the air since 2011, I have had showtime since then and this is the first time I have EVER heard about it. Nick Hawk himself has been on since the first season and is a Rapper, author, Mixed Martial Arts fighter & entrepreneur.

He does have his own website and from what I can tell is actually on a site that is a male escort service based out of Las Vegas. For an entrepreneur, it makes me wonder if he looked at this product before he let his name be stamped all over it because it just doesn't seem like the best business move.

PropertyofPotter, I thought my picture was in there but I messed up on some of the coding for adding it, but there is a size comparison now.
