Not My Fantasy
The Web Restraint System by Fetish Fantasy is a nice product, if you don't mind it being flimsy. The item would be best used as a 'novelty toy' since in our case, it didn't actually hold up when put to the test. The Web Restraint System is also not worth the money, in my opinion. There are restraint systems much cheaper out there that work much better than this one.Published: December 28, 2011
Pros:
Good for beginners, Pretty
Cons:
Not worth the money, Web is flimsy
Performance:The Fantasy Web Restraint System from Pipedream's Fetish Fantasy line is a nice little restraint system if you don't mind a slightly novice system. The restraint system itself is not good for intermediate to advanced users. It's fun and looks great in photos, however, if you're looking for a heavy play restraint system, this isn't the one. It's very flimsy and the middle of the web is almost impossible to keep centered. We tried various times and adjusted the restraint on multiple occasions to no success. Also, the ''web'' part of the restraint system never stays put as soon as someone is actually strapped into it. It's ridiculously easy to accidentally move it around and completely screw up the alignment with one minor move or struggle you make.
Contents:
The package itself comes with 4 red and black restraint cuffs which can be used on your wrists and on your ankles. The package also comes with a blindfold, which is cheaply made but hey, it's a freebie as I wasn't aware that it included the blindfold. Lastly, it includes the actual web restraint system which is black and red. It also has 4 bits of rope that hang off, so you can attach the cuffs to the restraint system.
Packaging:
The web restraint packaging is not discreet at all and clearly states it is a web restraint system by Fetish Fantasy and has a scantily clad female tied up to it in a bed. The back of the packaging has some positions to give some ideas of how to creatively use the web with your partner for fun, as well as photos of what comes included in the kit and a summary about it. The box is made of cardboard. Once you open the box, you find a clear plastic bag that has a clear warning label stating that plastic bags are dangerous and the usual warning labels. The kit comes with a free blindfold as well, that is enclosed inside the plastic bag in another plastic baggie that has no labels or warnings. There are no further instructions inside the box.
Design/Craftsmanship:
The restraint system is built in the shape of a spiderweb. It is adjustable to any size bed but we found it worked very well with ours, which is a standard queen sized bed. The web restraint came already fitted perfectly for our bed without any major adjustments having to be made for it to fit. One problem we found, that bothered both myself and my partner, is that it was very difficult to get the web centered on your bed. We tried many times to fruitless results. In the end, we just tucked the remaining bits of the web system under the top part to hide the odd shaped parts. As soon as someone is strapped into this restraint system, the spiderweb will move and become a mass of shapeless rope which can be annoying for perfectionists such as myself. The restraint cuffs themselves are very well made and sturdy but the ''web'' part moves around a lot and is flimsy. It's more of a novelty item in terms of craftsmanship.

Haven't used it since I reviewed it. It's a waste of space in my drawer. I still wouldn't recommend this to anyone looking for anything other than looking somewhat "nice"

Anyone have the web restraint system?
-
Or perhaps something similar? I'm looking for something like this that can fit a twin bed. Already getting the under bed restraints for one bed, but I need something that fits a twin and is like the web system.
Unless the web system itself can fit a twin, of course. -
No clue where you can get one, but on a related sidenote-- that's hot.
-
That review says it fits all mattresses? I think that would include twin?
"The web is of course best used on a bed and in my personal opinion I wouldn't want to strap it to anything smaller than a full due to the webs size"
How much bigger is a full?
You also may be able to make your own web with some rope, if you have time to play around with that.

Thank you for viewing Fetish Fantasy Series Web restraint system – restraints review page!

Great review.
Very nice job! Thanks so much for the pics. I was actually considering buying this just last week and I'm going straight to my wishlist and deleting it! I see what you mean about it being flimsy and not centering. I don't like that either. Lol. I really love that you included all these details, but hate that you had to get the disappointment from this. Hope you find a better restraint system. I believe there's little to choose from, but the sportsheets brand would probably be your best bet. I've not used it though so I can't be so sure. Best of luck finding a nice one though!
Thanks for the review. I think I will pass too.
Yeah I mean it's fun for novelty's sake and I probably would have gotten it anyways even if I had known how it would turn out because it's something that can spice up your sex life or be used just for play but it's definitely not something you should invest in if you want something serious.
Thanks for the review!
