Douglas Adams might describe these bad boys as "mostly harmless." These double-locking leg irons, painted black to add a little extra evil, are great for capturing your favorite elusive prey. I promise, they won't get away! These leg irons are perhaps better suited to the more seasoned BDSM player. They are quite strict and can pinch and nick the skin around the ankles if they're on too tight. Some people like that! Others, not so much. The long chain in the middle makes these perfect to lock up the ankles.

I was initially impressed by the design. From the picture, I wasn't convinced I'd be working with a sturdy chain in the middle. Without a sturdy connector, all the work is for naught. I was pleased to find it quite sturdy. I might even say unbreakable!

The size is great for small to average users. It didn't have any noticeable smell when it arrived.

These leg irons are made from heavy metal with a black coating, measuring 26" in total length. My favorite feature has to be the double-locking mechanism. Simply snap the cuffs into place as you would with normal handcuffs or leg irons, and then use the pin at the top of the key to push into the small hole at the base of each cuff. This prevents the cuffs from becoming tighter. To release, insert the key into the key hole. Turn the key away from the chain to unlock the double-lock feature, then back in the other direction to release the regular lock feature.

These leg irons worked very well for my partner and I. They met our expectations, and filled a much-needed desire on our toy wish list! There's just something about the cold metal against your skin that few other restrains can achieve so well. They perform as well as one might expect police-issue leg irons to perform. Quite well indeed!

These are easy to put on and remove. They will last through many, many rough sessions.

These restraints are super easy to care for. If you get fluids on them, just wipe them down with your favorite toy cleaner. Dry thoroughly so as to prevent rusting.

They should be stored with other restraint equipment or on a hook. Don't store them with any pliable toys made from materials which might stain or tarnish from contact with metal. Also, keep in mind that they will scratch or otherwise damage fragile items if not stored properly. One solution is to keep them in a soft, padded bag.
