The whip is made up of falls, two black, plastic beads, and a clear rubber handle. The falls are also made from rubber, and the entire toy has a very distinct rubber smell when first taken out of the package. If users are allergic to rubber or latex, then this toy should not be purchased. The falls are folded double and run through the beads and handle, with the black nylon strap attached to the toy beneath the fold of the falls at the end of the whip on the last black bead. The whip feels secure, but the beads and handle are easily moved back and forth when wiggled. However, they show no signs of the falls slipping through them and falling apart any time soon.

The rubber of both the falls and handle are lightweight, smooth and feel cold to the touch, but quickly warm to body heat. The scent of the rubber does linger on the hands, but quickly dissipates or can be washed away with water. This rubber smell will also eventually fade from the whip itself. Think of the way a rubber band smells and that is similar to how this whip smells.

Performance

Designed to be compact, this toy is not ideal for larger hands, and users may find themselves having trouble gripping onto it. The whip feels somewhat awkward in hand when in use, and it almost feels too short when you're thrashing your partner with it. This toy is great for getting up close and personal though, and can be used on the many erogenous zones such as the nipples, genitals or buttocks. Dragging it across the skin warrants a ticklish form of teasing, whilst thrashing the falls against the skin creates a small bit of sting to the area it hits. The whip can also leave marks in its wake, however, these marks tend to fade quickly, so you won't find yourself with any lasting bruises or marks from this toy.

When dragging the falls along the skin, the toy feels extra nice when dragged along the back, creating soft tickling sensations along the spine and hips. When the toy is swinging in the air before a lashing, it makes a cutting sound through the air. When the falls come into contact with the skin, it makes a soft slapping sound that you may be able to hear through a closed door. If you have sensitive nipples or skin, the toy can sting a bit more than usual, and the falls are easily maneuvered for more pinpoint contact with how small the whip is.

Care and Maintenance

Caring for this whip is fairly simple. Should your whip get oils, bodily fluids or lubricants on it, you can rinse it under warm soapy water. Be sure not to submerge the whip under water, and keep water from entering the handle. This could trap water there and potentially grow mold. Once you've rinsed the falls to your liking, splay them out on a napkin or lint-free towel to air dry.

This whip is a lint, hair and dust magnet, so all of that will float to it and stick if it is left out. You can store your whip hanging from a hook in your closet, or tie a rubber band around the falls and store it in a plastic bag when the whip is fully dry. Do not leave your whip in direct sunlight or anywhere near intense heat as the whip could melt or dry-rot in extreme temperatures. If the falls become tangled, simply run your fingers through them in order to get any tangles out of them. Should this whip come into contact with any bodily fluids, it is best to consider this toy fluid bound to that partner due to the porous material.

Packaging

Packaging was minimal as it was just sealed in a plastic bag, and there weren't any instructions with the whip, but the use is straightforward. It came shipped discreetly in a plain, cardboard box that was marked Web Merchants Inc. and had no indicators as to what was inside. There were two air pillows to keep the toy from bumping around during transit. All in all, packaging was minimal and recyclable, but discreet.

Personal comments

This 'whip' should technically be called a flogger, and a mini flogger. The toy itself is a fun addition to the bedroom, and is a great way to tease your partner, but I need to feel pain when floggers or whips are used. This just didn't deliver for me, with its light sting. As a tickler however, the toy delivered, and my partner very much enjoyed this light play.
Follow-up commentary
We still use this flogger for teasing one another. It's small enough to fit in the hand, and it's easy to clean with the rubber strands. We use this mostly for teasing nipples and genitals.

If rubber scent gets on the hands, can you confirm that this rubber isn't silicone like in the product name?
