I can think of no better use for this toy than for bending someone over and giving them a good, hard spanking. The way the leather feels against one's ass cheeks is remarkable. I'm not sure what else you would use it for, but not using it for spanking would be a complete waste! If you buy this merely to hang on your wall, you are completely missing out!

My favorite way to use this toy is for my wife to order me to my hands and knees and slap my ass with it until it leaves little star imprints on my backside. Be warned, however. It can take a lot of force and/or several minutes of use for the toy to leave a star print.

To me, it feels like the star side is much, much more gentle than the plain leather side. The plain leather side hurts in a most delicious way. I'd say my wife and I are fairly new to spanking, and this toy suits us perfectly. It's not intimidating at all, and the level of pain can be adjusted based on how hard you hit. I can't see us ever getting tired of it, really, so I imagine advanced users might be able to make good use of this as well.

As a bonus, it's also just about the right size for tucking into a duffel bag or suitcase, so this is ready for travel!

The toy is fairly well made. My wife and I both love the way it feels when it slaps against our skin.

There are, however, a couple of drawbacks. My wife has small hands, and the toy is just a little hard for her to wrap her hand around. It doesn't make the toy impossible to use, but it can get uncomfortable after several minutes of using the toy to make me scream and beg.

The other problem is that this toy has started to bend after such little use. We've used it for five spanking sessions, none of them longer than ten minutes, and it has a slight bend already. I'm a bit concerned as to how well and how long it might hold up.

Finally, the stars . . . you can leave imprints with it, but you have to hit really hard. For beginners, that might be a bit much. Don't hang all your hopes on this toy making perfect impressions on anybody's rear end. We had better luck just focusing on turning the bottom red with the other side.

Aside from the unexpected bending of the toy when force is put behind it, the paddle does serve its intended purpose well: paddling my ass until it's red and stingy. Sometimes star imprints are left, sometimes not, but my ass is always deliciously sore after using this toy.

This toy is easy to care for. We never manage to get it dirty, but I imagine a clean, soft cloth and any leather cleaner would do to take care of it. Since it isn't meant for insertion and we only use it on clean behinds, we haven't had to clean it yet.
