I love leather toys and I really appreciate the smell of leather. This toy is no exception. Upon first glance, it seems cute like it will be a joke. When you grab hold of this paddle, know that all joking ends. It's time for business. Just holding this paddle gives you a sense of empowerment. You feel like you can do anything, and it's exciting.

I love the fact that there are words imprinted on the paddle. It is not only cute, but makes it seem more fun and far less intimidating than it could be.

The leather gives it a sturdy feel and it is rather lightweight. When bringing it down upon someone's bottom, you get a lovely "SWOOSH" noise and hear a slight "SMACK!" There is a minor sting and it does leave the imprinted word ouch on your bottom if swung hard enough. Overall, I don't find this paddle to be incredibly impressive. While the idea of having a word imprinted on your bum is cute in all, actually it doesn't work that well. It takes a rather hard spank of the bottom to get the word to imprint.

The paddle itself delivers a sting, but it isn't really painful. I personally like to use this paddle when I'm warming up, and move on to heavier, harder paddles made of rubber or wood.

The leather makes this toy very durable, but that means that you can't clean it easily. I wipe mine down with a dry cloth to remove dust, debris, and sweat. I then place it in a dry drawer. Do not get this paddle wet as it can ruin the leather.
