Use

Great toy for those into sensation play and even pain play. It is a great way to make you feel completely aware of your body and all your senses. Be careful of the sharp points if you jump a lot, otherwise you will fall in love quickly and enjoy a great night with your partner. I think the best use would be for couples, because it's not really something that I see being used by someone alone. You would rather close your eyes and enjoy the sensations. I think everyone from beginners to advanced users can use this product and thoroughly enjoy it!

This toy is a great one to have in every kinky person’s toy bag. Ours is always in the bag and goes with us to all the parties. Everyone loves it and loves playing with it. Be careful if you have those with medical conditions; I would check with a doctor before using it on someone like me who is fibromyalgia. Some of these can bother the condition and cause severe pain. It is a great toy for someone who loves many sensations. Add a blindfold for a more thrilling effect, not allowing your partner know when you are going to touch them and also to make them crave that touch.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

The design is great and comfortable for the hand. Doesn't make the hand cramp while using this. This item, with proper care, will last a long time. I would suggest using alcohol on this instead of washing it because it doesn't allow the joints to rust with water exposure. This is easy to use for the most vanilla of us and up to the most experienced BDSM players.

Performance

This worked great for me. I have loved playing with it and enjoying the sensations it has given me. This is actually intended as a medical device, but is used in the BDSM community as a toy for pain/pleasure and sensation play. I would suggest this to all my friends. Care and Maintenance

I store this in its original packaging for best storage. When the case splits, which is does because you're not paying for the case, transfer to a package that will keep it and the prongs safe, too. I suggest cleaning with alcohol over using things like soap and water. The soap and water can rust up the gears just like in any other toy.

I still love this toy. It makes working with rope or sensory deprivation worth the while. I would buy this over and over. We have already broken two with hard, almost-daily use.

@SweetyJolt I wouldn't store it directly in your BDSM box if it's like mine and has a million things in it. I would make sure it's in a padded/plastic hard case or some way to keep it from getting broken. It is a good item to take extra care with.

    • Interesting question. Since it's chrome plaited steel, I would assume it could possibly rust because chrome does oxidize over time.

      Can't say that I have had rust issues - it's made of chrome-plated brass from what I've observed. My #1 problem with my wheels (regardless of source) is that you're pretty much on your own to find a suitable sheath - they will poke through many materials, and I've had at least one that poked through something and bent the tines.

      That one does not get used in play.

    • I'm literally aching to snag one of the Wartenberg Pinwheels link but they're sold out and I'd like to know when they'll be back, or maybe if theres one stray floating about the inventory from the move...     • why would you want a less intense toy. The wheel is not all that bad.
    • The Wartenberg pinwheel is only as intense as you want it to be. If you lightly trace it over the skin, it isn't at all prickly, but the harder you press, the more intense it becomes.
