The ankle kink cuffs are wonderful for beginners to bondage and restraints as well as those who have taken part in these activities for quite some time. These cuffs are light weight, easy to use, and are designed to fit a variety of ankle sizes so if you have had trouble in the past with finding ankle cuffs that were comfortable and not tight these are ones you need to try. While not good for suspension play, these cuffs are great for both light restraint in the bedroom and rough restraint with quite a bit of tension applied to them in a more intense scene.

The ankle kink cuffs are made of nylon and leather that are sturdy and able to withstand light to rather intense play. Each cuff measures at about 14" in length and are 2" wide which allows them to fit a variety of ankle sizes comfortably. At one end of the cuffs is attached a buckle which serves to hold the cuffs together once a desirable fit is acquired. The buckle does not lock and is not strong enough to support a suspension scene in any way, shape, or form. In the center of the cuffs is a silver "D" ring that is held to the leather by two silver studs on each side. The ring is movable and allows for the cuffs to be attached to chain, a spreader bar, rope, the end of a bed, or wherever you prefer to bind your partner. Along the end of the cuffs are a series of twelve holes punched into the leather that allow for the cuffs to be adjusted to a desirable fit. If you have larger ankles and are worried about these cuffs fitting properly and comfortably, I can attest to the fact that they do. I have larger ankles and these cuffs fit without a struggle and without having to be on the first or second notches.

The nylon beneath the leather is attached almost completely. The nylon is not attached to the leather past the silver stud closest to the holes in the leather to allow for adjustment of the leather strap when applying the cuffs to your partner. The nylon folds beneath the opposite end of the cuffs (near the buckle) to secure the ankle. The nylon may be a bit rough to some and can cause a bit of irritation after a bit of play and rubbing of skin against it so these cuffs may not be suitable for everyone.

These cuffs work wonders for both fashion and play. Most ankle cuffs have the tendency to feel tight after being in place for a while or can feel cumbersome from time to time. These cuffs definitely have a bit of weight to them due to the leather and metal buckle and ring attached to them, but the cuffs are easy to move about in and wear for extended periods of time. If you are new to purchasing ankle cuffs for you or your partner, these cuffs are excellent starter cuffs. They can withstand rather rough play (these cuffs were on my ankles and cuffed to a St. Andrew's Cross where I fought my partner rather roughly) and are great for even the lightest of play. For those who are more experienced in BDSM play, these cuffs are also good for you as well. I do warn against performing any type of suspension play in these cuffs as they are not strong or sturdy enough to support body weight on their own. All in all, these cuffs get the job done by binding comfortably and well.

These cuffs are a bit tricky to clean. When caring for your cuffs, be sure not to submerge or expose the leather to any water as the water could damage the material. I would suggest wiping down the leather portion with a leather conditioning wipe and blotting the nylon with a damp, warm towel. Allow the cuffs to air dry before storage. To store, I would place them in a ziploc bag or with your other cuffs and toys. These are easy to store in a side table drawer or wherever you store your toys.
