Deluxe pony hobbles - ankle cuffs by Sinvention - review by Princess-Kayla ♥

As the name suggests, these can be used during pony play as hobbles. I've never dabbled into Pony play, however so I can't really tell you for sure how well they work for that, but I imagine they would do a fantastic job. I honestly bought these because I have a bit of a cuff fetish, and I had a fixation with these. I use them as wrist/ankle cuffs rather than for hobbles, but maybe someday I'll also use them as hobbles.

If you have really thin wrists though, these probably won't work very well for you because they are huge. You can use them on your upper arm though, or around your ankles.

If you have thick ankles, these may not work for you as well. I have chubby legs, and they fit around my ankle on the last belt hole, but they don't fit my husband's ankle at all.

These can be used for heavy restraint. They're made from very thick leather, and the chains on them are extremely thick. I have no doubt that these will last me for at least several years, no matter how rough I get with them.

These are probably the most durable, well made cuffs I own. They're made from extremely thick leather. They leather is about 1/4 of an inch thick. They have two other thick leather straps that go around them as well to buckle them. The buckles close much like a belt. They have five different slots for adjustments and have the ability to lock. Even on the most closed though, these may still be loose on a lot of people. Even with them on the third notch, I can still easily pull my wrist out.

The chains that connect these are also extremely thick. They don't detach in any way, but there's about a foot of space between the two cuffs. You don't have to worry about these breaking in any way though. I'd trust those chains to hold me up off the side of a cliff. You should definitely not try to do that though.

Because these are so thick, and they have such big chains, these cuffs are heavy. If you're wearing them very long, they're probably going to get really hot and uncomfortable after a while, so you may want to plan on taking breaks while wearing them. Honestly, they probably weigh about a pound. They're pretty impressive.

I really love these. They're a LOT bigger than I thought they were going to be, but they still work out. I prefer to use them as wrist cuffs rather than hobbles. Honestly, I haven't done much research on pony play, so I'm unsure how to use them like that. Maybe someday I'll use them as their name implies though.

As wrist cuffs they work well. It is a little hard though because on almost every one of the sizes, I can slip my wrist out. If we have them too lose I just have to kind of pretend that I can't wiggle out of them. If they're around my ankles though there's no hope for escape.

The only thing is that they're really loud. If you love with someone else, you may not want to use these until they're gone. The chains clank together and because they're so big, they make a lot of noise.

Leather can be cleaned with a damp rag and mild soap.

I have a toy box that I keep all of my toys in, which is where I store these. They're definitely not discreet enough to leave out anywhere. They're huge and noticeable. I'm going to say they're difficult to store, just because they are so big that there aren't too many places you can really hide them.

I really loved these. They're much bigger than I thought they were going to be, and honestly they were a little intimidating at first. I do wish they were a tiny bit smaller, just so I wouldn't have to worry about them falling off or anything. These really are amazing cuffs though, and would be perfect for heavy restraint.
