This would be a decent gag to get for a beginner on a budget, it is quite safe to use and adjustable for most sizes. I would not advise this for the more intense BDSM enthusiasts, as it will most likely be a let-down. But if you're looking to see what all the fuss is about over ballgags, this isn't a bad way to go.

The design is not ideal, however you aren't going to get much better at this price. It's sturdy, but ill-fitting. Unless you put in some time to making small modifications to the harness, it will most likely be loose on the wearer. On it's tightest setting, it can be very easily pushed out of the wearers mouth. If you're looking for something easily escape-able, that could be an upside.

The leather straps seem to be made of fake leather, the fasteners seem to be quite sturdy though. It does have a very strong rubber smell when you first receive it. It diminishes over time, but it will taste quite vile if you use it right out of the box.

For such a low price, it met my expectations. It worked, it didn't fall apart, and it looks not too appalling. It is not ideal for long-term wear, however, as the straps going from the ball to the harness can twist to dig into the sides of the mouth and rub raw.

Cleaning is quite awkward with the ball in this product. The way it is held in place is by a leather (or fake leather) strap with fasteners on the ends, which sounds like no big deal until it comes time to clean it. The ball is hollow, meaning any saliva (or whatever happens to find its way within the ball gag) will soak into the strap. I would advise cleaning it with hot water and soap, rinsing out as much soap as possible (unless you want the next wearer to wretch at the taste of soap) and leaving it somewhere open to dry.
