Player paddle by ASLAN Leather - review by Sir

Aslan Leather's Player paddle is a high quality paddle that's best for people who know what they want in terms of pain and who want a long-lasting paddle that will give just the right amount. I would say that people who are inexperienced could buy this paddle and enjoy it, but it is fairly expensive, so it's better bought when you're sure that you enjoy spanking implements, and paddles in particular.

If used in the right hands, it can give an extreme effect, so those who enjoy dealing lots of sting and thud would definitely enjoy the Player Paddle.

The paddle is in the shape of a ping pong paddle, only much, much bigger. My Rainbow Nights paddle is about the same size as a ping pong paddle, but this one is larger, with a spanking area of about 7 1/2" across at the largest point by 5 1/4" at the shortest (where the handle meets the paddle). I enjoy the larger spanking area and, thankfully, this paddle has not become floppy due to having a larger area. It has two layers of leather, artfully stitched together and finished at the edges.

Its handle has either a wood or metal insert, giving an easy and firm grip. It's 4 1/4" in length, which is a bit short but should be substantial for most people to hold. There's also a long loop on the end of the handle that can be used as either a wrist strap or a hanging strap; it's long enough for either one.

What makes this paddle unique is the use of the red, glittery vinyl. On the backside of the paddle's spanking area is a heart made of this material. It's so cute and adorable. The wrist/hanging strap is made of the same material, giving the paddle a bit of extra interest. For people who are used to having dull and regular paddles, this one would definitely brighten up anyone's collection.

Aslan Leather's leather always has that delicious leather scent, and this paddle was no exception. I could put my nose on this thing all day and not become bored. Their leather is also a high quality, so it's smooth and sensual. In terms of weight, the paddle isn't honestly that heavy; it has a moderate weight, not light, but not heavy.

The Player Paddle is a heavy hitting, extremely thuddy paddle. It is leather, so it isn't as hard as wood or metal might be, but it is still sewn with the two layers of leather, making it a bit more firm than some wobbly leather paddles might be. The paddle is perfect for me because it has a large hitting area, making it easy to smack the majority of my partner's tush as opposed to only part or one side of it.

I personally find that hitting my partner's bottom and thighs is the most fun. It's a great paddle for teasing or punishing, depending on what I'm in the mood for. Though it doesn't look intimidating, it really is (especially when the victim knows how you use it, and how hard your swings are).

In terms of markings, you can easily leave light rouging up to intense bruises. Pairing this paddle with a cane or braided tailed whip will make for a very, very fun and exciting time. Keep in mind that the paddle is extremely loud, so using it isn't very discreet or quiet. It sounds like a thwapping or slapping sound, depending on how it's used.

This is honestly a very easy to take care of paddle. If need be, you can wipe it off with a damp cloth and some mild soap or leather cleaner, either works. I personally take very good care of my leather materials so I've rarely needed to do this. For storage, simply hang it up by its strap or lay it down on a shelf; always make sure to keep it in dry areas, out of direct, constant sunlight.

The paddle did not really come in anything special. It only came in a plastic bag that was easily disposed of. There were no instructions included, but the paddle did have a tag on its wrist/hanging strap. The tag does have some information on how to keep the paddle clean, but nothing else.

The Player Paddle is extremely long-lasting and well-made, but if you're worried that something might happen to it over time, Aslan Leather backs up their product with a lifetime warranty. That's very helpful if something happens to it that shouldn't have, like if it broke or became bent while you were using it regularly.
