This product makes me feel flexible again. I love positions that have me folded up like a mall pretzel, but I don't like the clumsiness of having to grasp at my thighs to try to keep them up or the way that they flap around. Ok, enough with the horrible visuals..let's just say that this product is awesome and helps achieve positions with comfort and ease and I don't want to be without my pleasure sling ever again!

Use

The Pleasure Sling from Whip Smart is a positioning aid to help make certain sex positions a lot more comfortable. I've found that it works extremely well for holding my legs up high to enhance g-spot pleasure during sex, and also for keeping my legs up high while my husband performed oral sex on me. It also lifts up your head a bit so it gave a better view of the action!

There's two ways that you can position yourself in the sling. For both ways the neck portion is the same. You put the flat padded strap behind your neck and position it so that it's comfortable for you. You then take a loop and put them either on your feet or slide them over your feet and onto your legs. How far they go up depends on the size of your leg. For me, I'm a borderline plus sized gal and they went up to the start of my thighs, which ended up being perfect because I wouldn't have wanted it any higher.

Whether you aren't as flexible as you'd like to be, or just want to contort yourself with a little more ease and comfort the Pleasure Sling can be a great asset to your sex life!

Design / Craftsmanship / Material

This product is a lot higher quality than I originally expected with the price. The cheetah print material is plush, soft and well padded and the nylon straps are all reinforced and feature a high quality thick plastic buckle. I have tried pushing against these straps with all my weight, and I'm not exactly a small girl and I did not feel or hear the slightest indication of ripping. I've examined the sling afterwards and they look brand new and don't show any sign of wear.

The only thing I did not like, and this is my only complaint and it's a small one, was the cheetah print. I've never really been a fan of animal print, and it seemed kind of cheesy. I wish that there was made some solid colors to choose from. But, the cheetah print is a small price to pay for the awesomeness that is the Pleasure Sling!

Performance

I am in love with this pleasure sling. One of my favorite positions is having my legs up high and spread apart while my husband thrusts into me. Thing is that can be kind of hard to keep up after a while. I also find that most times I'd have to hold onto my legs to keep them up. With the sling I can let the sling do the work and leave my hands free for other things. Or, I can use my hands to hold onto the ends of the straps to anchor myself.

I also liked this during oral sex and so did my husband since it gave him easier access and gave him a really hot view. I liked that I was able to just press against the straps and kind of sink into them, since I wasn't going anywhere while in this sling. Like I said above, it also lifts my head a bit so that gave me a pretty hot view as well. It even acts almost like a bondage toy because when it got intense and I would normally have closed my legs a bit I found I wasn't able to. Now sure I could have released the buckle which would gradually let my legs down, but just that bit of resistance was pretty steamy for me and added a bit of spice to our session.

I have to say it's pretty darn comfortable. When I first got it I had to immediately try it out, and when I say immediately I mean I doubt the mail man had even made it down the block yet! I sat on the couch looking like a pretzel and called to my husband "wow this is awesome come check this out!!" It gave my legs a nice stretch and I'm pretty sure I could have sat there all day like that. It was really easy to get out of too. At first I was worried since I had myself in there REALLY tight by pulling at the straps and my husband was amused and wasn't about to help me out (at least not right away!). But, luckily I found that you just pull up on the buckle and it lets you out really easily.

Packaging

The packaging is great for storage (it's just a cardboard box), but I wouldn't say it's very discreet. The package shows a couple using the sling. Now, if that was found by someone they would absolutely know what this is, but if you just had the sling in a drawer they might not really know, since it looks pretty innocent (well as innocent as something CHEETAH PRINT can!)

There wasn't really any instructions, but it's pretty straight forward and the pictures on the box show the girl using it with her feet in the loops in one photo and then with her legs in them in the other. There was a product registration form included though, which tells you that you can return the product within 90 days if there is any failure or defect.

Care and Maintenance

I don't think I would trust this in the washing machine, although maybe on delicate or "hand wash" if you have that cycle. It also might do ok if you put it in a lingerie bag. I think the main concern would be that the padding could get all wonky and not lay as nice. Otherwise you can just hand wash it and hang it out to dry, which will personally be the way I handle it, I love this sling and don't want to risk my washer eating it for breakfast!

Follow-up commentary I still like it 2 months after original review

Here's the thing. We still really like the pleasure sling, but it doesn't get pulled out that often. It stays hidden in the drawer so the kids don't wonder what the heck it's for, and it becomes out of sight, out of mind. The reason I think we don't bring it out to play much is because we can do all the positions that the sling helps with, the sling just makes it easier. But, I guess since we CAN do them..we just don't bother with it. I think this would be more useful if:

a) We often had marathon sex sessions...for those this becomes almost a necessity if you don't want an extreme hip and thigh work out.

b) I was not able to hold my legs up in the air myself. For those that always have trouble holding that position, even for short periods of time, the pleasure thing would make sex a LOT more enjoyable and it'd be worth bringing it out each time.

c)we weren't just so lazy! I mean really, how long does it take to get it out and put it on? Like 30 seconds probably. But, when we're getting it on we just don't think about it. So, maybe it's not lazy..maybe we're just too passionate to break, yea that's it!
