A few things stood out to me in the design of these cuffs. One is that I wish there was a metal snap clip on each end of the chain. Then if you had a hog tie or suspension gear you could use these with them, clipping the cuffs onto other gear. If you wanted you could buy a double ended snap clip and use these cuffs with other types of BDSM or fetish items you may have or looking to purchase. The metal chain is mounted to each cuff by a leather brace, which helps with its strength. I was surprised at how strong these really were. The second thing was how soft they are. I've personally got used to leather buckle style cuff since I am more advanced, but these soft smooth cuffs would be great to take away on vacation. They are not soft and fuzzy, which I find is a good thing. I appreciate that they work for both ankles and feet, so you might want to purchase 2 pairs. This will make for more fun and maybe more exploration for beginners. I personally do not like Velcro, because I fear the Velcro can loosen over time. Hey, but maybe you are crafty and can fix that. I will say that over all the cuffs are very light weight, maybe they could have a thicker material for a cuff, but for beginners this will do just fine!

Like I stated above I normally use leather cuffs, so when trying these out my husband I giggled a bit, but it brought back memories. They are bright pink and I am personally not into the whole pink fetish gear, but to each their own. I was surprised how well they held up with pulling against them once tied up and used with my other BDSM gear, especially with our bull hook rings above our bed. As beginner handcuffs these definitely met my expectations. I would rather recommend people buy these than those metal fuzzy cuffs. The chain held tight as well as the clip. Do not shy away from these to spice up a night or for a pair of cuffs to travel with. That will lay completely flat and fit in a small space.

Since these cuffs are made of fleece I would just use soap and water to clean them if needed. The Velcro may attract dust, so store in a place that is kept clean or free of dust. I wish they came with a bag or some sort of pouch to store them in.

Again Eden did not deliver on packaging. I am all about the presentation as I state in most of my reviews and again this was poor. The cuffs came in a plastic sealed bag. That was it. No literature or care information.
