Portable Bondage Pleasure

All in all, this product is a great addition to anyone's bondage tool kit. It's great for those "spur of the moment" moods and opportunities. It's easy to use because no "fixed" installation hardware is required. This is not a replacement for a good set of eye-bolts or solid bedposts, but is well worth the investment.

Pros:
Easy to set up.
Very compact and portable.
Cons:
Restraints tend to cut into your skin.

Use

The Under the Bed Restraint System is perfect for both beginners and couples looking to spice up their sex lives through bondage. This product will not provide sufficient holding force for more "energetic" or "advanced" play. It is perfect for situations requiring discretion or portability. It stores and packs away easily and quickly.

Design / Craftsmanship / Material / Size / Fit

A portable bondage system must be easy to set up, pack down and store. The Under the Bed Restraint System meets these requirements. The straps that tuck under the bed and attach to each restraint are fairly durable and easy to set up. The entire system packs down very quickly and is very compact. The clasps are somewhat small and may weaken over time, but should be fairly easy to replace.

Performance

The straps tend to come loose with medium to heavy pressure. The wrist restraints included are fine for beginners and light play, but are somewhat uncomfortable for more energetic activities. They tend to cut into the skin or give way at inopportune times. The clasps are light duty as well. While not necessarily suited for more advanced users, this system meets a wide range of needs and applications. It's great for casual bondage play while traveling, hosting fetish parties or when just experimenting.

Personal comments

With a couple additions of new clasps and restraints, this system can be "upgraded" very easily for more advanced use. The strap system is very durable.

Experience

We have 2 sets installed in our house and one in our travel bag. They are very easy to hide when family comes over and quick to pull out for use when other couples and friends come over. These have been very popular at recent "couples" parties that we've hosted. I did almost get a black eye once though when one wrist restraint gave way. It's for this reason that I don't recommend this system for more robust use.
Follow-up commentary
We now have 4 sets of these. One set stays packed in our travel bag and the others are set up in all or our bedrooms for us and guests to enjoy. Eventually, you will probably want to upgrade the restraints to leather. I really like the flexibility of this restraint system, but have never been a fan of non leather wrist/ankle straps so we upgraded all of the cuffs. Otherwise, this is an awesome system. It is easy to set up or take down and packs away easily.

I like the review. I'm a little curious as to how long the straps are, but you did a good job.

We have used the straps on twin beds, full, queen and king size beds with equal success. The straps are adjustable and fit most beds. Thanks for all the feedback and comments.

How do the straps work? Do they run completely under the mattress from end to end?

Interesting note about your near-miss with a fist! Big smile Glad you survived!

Yes it goes under the mattress. A long main strap runs under the mattress length wise in the middle. Both ends have two straps that go out to the corners of the bed, each with a wrist/ankle restraint. These come up around the mattress at the corners and are adjustable depending on your needs, mattress size, tightness preferences, height, arm length and any other factors that you might need to adjust for. All in all, it's a fairly versatile system.

  • Under the bed restraint system
    • What creative ways can you guys come up with to use this system in conjunction with tethers and hip restraints.

We'll start with a simple one, Hog Tie: Simply have the person on the bed or floor on their belly and attach the wrist restraints to the their respective ankle restraints (from the behind, as in the ankles should meet the wrist around the lower back area)

What creative ways have you guys used this system?
    • I haven't got this one yet - it does look like fun though :-)

We just recently picked this item up. (Well, actually bf bought it and surprised me with it!!!)

We've only used it once so far and it's wonderful. Nothing creative yet, but maybe when we get the hang of it.

Are the standard bed restraint systems, such as 'under the bed', one size fits all for different beds? Could I use this on twin mattress and king mattress?
    • Well, Backseat Boohoo's verified review says she used it on an extra long twin and mine is set up on an extra tall queen. I know some folks with kings have found it a big small, though.

      Beat me to it!

For most beds, I think they would work. They worked on my extra long twin back in a dorm room, and they work on the full bed I have now. But I might draw the line at a king, yes, unless you want to buy an extension strap.
