The Pink Candy Jaguar Cuffs by Aslan are bondage wrist restraints. They are secured around your partner's wrists (or ankles if you have very small ankles) and are then used in a variety of ways to restrain your partner. You can secure the cuffs to each other with quick snaps or rope, you can attach them to an under the bed restraint, you can attach them to a collar. There really are a wide numbers of things you can do with bondage cuffs. Really the only limit to using bondage cuffs is your imagination, or if you need some inspiration just look at some photos.

These cuffs are great for anybody who is into BDSM, specifically the bondage aspect. I am a 6 foot 2 male and these cuffs do fit on my wrists. So I think in terms of size they should work for most individuals. I think they are also great for beginners because of the color. I know my girlfriend initially was a little bit intimidated by all the black BDSM gear and having some white and pink options form Aslan definitely helped ease her into things and she was a lot more comfortable. So these cuffs are great if you want to have "lighter" BDSM play.

The one thing that makes them more advanced though is the cost. I personally think leather BDSM gear is a great investment, because if you properly take care of it then it will last decades. But if you were to buy these and not really get into the whole bondage thing then you would be out a good chunk of change. So it might be good to get some cheaper restraints, or use rope to start, or even just a tie or anything and see if you and your partner are into bondage. And if you are then you can start thinking about investing in good quality gear that will last a while.

With BDSM play though make sure you have lots of communication between you and your partner. If you are playing where no actually means yes then use a safeword. If you are using gags then have a non-verbal safeword. And just read up on what you are doing. When you are restraining a partner there are some risks and you just want to make sure you are always safe.

These are also very aesthetically pleasing cuffs and I think you could wear them as jewelry basically. If you were going to a fetish club, if you were modelling, or if you just wanted to look sexy around the house for your partner I think you could wear these. They are just very eye catching and look very nice.

These cuffs are made by Aslan a Canadian company that specializes in BDSM gear. Aslan has a good reputation of making high quality BDSM gear and these cuffs did not disappoint.

The cuffs are composed of three distinct layers.

The inside layer (where your wrists are in contact with) is actually a layer of vegan leather. This layer is white in color. The vegan leather is quite soft and nice, but I do find a like real leather a bit more. The vegan leather is just slightly less smooth and a bit coarser than real leather. I am unsure of why they used a vegan leather for the inside. Perhaps for comfort, perhaps to save some costs. It does not really say on the website. I think this might be important for some people. Someone like myself prefers a real leather lining to a cuff. However if you do prefer vegan products then this might be an advantage for you. The stitching on the inside of the cuff is all very equal, in a straight line, and looks like the person making the cuff did a very good job. I have one small critique of this layer though. There is a tag attached to a rivet. And although you cannot really feel it when you are wearing these cuffs I like the inside of my bondage cuffs to be just the cuff and not a tag. That is just me being very picky though.

The second layer is the hot pink layer. This layer is actually composed out of real leather. It goes along the outside of the cuff and definitely adds some aesthetic appeal. It seems to be nice quality leather. It is smooth, the color is nice and equal, and the stitching along it is also very equal and looks professionally done.

The final layer is white again. This is the strap that goes along the length of the entire cuff. The side facing outwards is finished smooth. The backside of the strap though is left as a suede finish (a fuzzier finish). This layer too is composed of leather and again it is very nice. It is smooth and seems to be high quality, a nice thickness, and have a very even color to it. The strap is attached to the rest of the cuff by rivets along it.

The cuffs should fit wrists anywhere from 6-9" in diameter. Potentially even a little small. These fit my girlfriend and myself. She is quite small and has petite wrists. I am a 6 foot 2 inch tale male and they fit me too. I even have some room to make them bigger, so I think these should fit lots of users. They will likely not fit a lot of users for ankle restraints though. They do not fit me, however they do fit my girlfriend.

The cuffs all have on nickle plated D ring that attach to them. So you can attach the cuffs to one object only. They also have a nickle plated locking buckle. This is nice for more advanced users who want to make it impossible to remove the cuffs. A locking buckle allows you to put a small lock on them and it prevents the cuffs from being removed. I think this is a nice feature.

Overall I think these are nice bondage cuffs. They are very similar to a lot of others you will find out there in terms of design. And that is because a bondage cuff is pretty simply. I think they are composed of nice materials and expect them to last for at least a decade. Leather is a very tough material and deals with stress very well. I am not sure about vegan leather. I think it does not last quite as long, but I still expect a long lifespan for these.

The cuffs did smell like leather when I fist got them. I very much like the smell of leather and found them very pleasant. That small has faded though over the past weeks and they really do not have an odor anymore.

Like all leather toys they are a bit stiff when you get them. But the more you use a leather item, and after some conditioning they just get more soft and supple and nice to use. The leather will get softer and easier to work with. Which means the cuffs are easier to put on and feel nice while wearing them. Mine after only owning them for a few weeks are a lot softer and nicer.

These cuffs performed very well. They looked great while wearing them. The color definitely adds something new and exciting and novel to your BDSM play. They were very comfortable to wear for quite a long period of time. Even struggling against them was a lot of fun and still comfortable.

When using bondage cuffs there are multiple ways to use them. We use snap hooks to attach them together, use snap hooks to hogtie each other, we made an under the bed restraint system using rope and tie them to that, you could lock them together, you could tie them together with rope, you can use them with a spreader bar, you can attach them to a collar, you can really do anything you want with them if you can imagine it.

They cuffs were very secure while wearing them. The locking buckles were an added bonus to the fun. Overall they were just great high quality BDSM cuffs. As I mentioned earlier I do like pure leather cuffs a bit more (Aslan's suspension cuffs for example), but these are still a 5 start product. They are just slightly less of a 5 start product than a pure leather cuff.

I would definitely suggest these to any BDSM and bondage and enthusiast, because they were just a lot of fun to play with.

As I have mentioned before one unexpected application of this product is to use it for ankle restraints. If you are female and have small ankles it is possible you could also use them that way.

This toy is made out of leather, so it does require more care than other toys. After you use the wrist cuffs, you should wipe it down with a damp soapy cloth. From what I have read either glycerin saddle soap or dish soap works great. After you wipe it down you should dry off any excess moisture and let it dry completely before storing it. It should be stored in a place with at least a little airflow to prevent mold growth. I plan on storing mine in a plastic container under my bed with my other leather toys. Because it is leather, it can dry out over time. So, it is best to condition your leather toys once every 1 to 3 months. This will depend slightly on your climate. You should never completely submerge your toy is water. This will damage the leather.

It is also important to note leather is a porous material. It is not advisable to use this toy on anybody other than a fluid bonded partner. Some people use leather toys for multiple people if they clean it thoroughly. This includes soap and then typically exposing it to air for at least 72 hours, and then some people expose it to UV radiation for a couple minutes to kill everything else. If you would want to use this with multiple partners though read up on it, because there are some additional risks.

Aslan packages their toys very simply. They come in a plastic Ziploc with a small tag on them. The tag just gives you small info about how to care for your leather products.

I choose to store my cuffs not in the bag provided. I like them to get some decent airflow, so I keep them in an open topped plastic container. The bag provided though would be good for storage.

Overall these were a great pair of cuffs. I bought them in particular for my girlfriend because she finds all the black leather BDSM gear to be a bit intimidating at times. Overall these were a great purchase and we have used them multiple times and they were great.

Aslan is one of my favorite companies. I have a jaguar harness, their suspension cuffs, their ankle cuffs, these wrist cuffs, and am going to be purchasing their head harness and pink collar this month. They just really good quality gear that is worth investing in, because from my experience it will last a long time and is just well made.
