I got my first paddle a few weeks ago and really liked it. My boyfriend and I have practiced spanking for years. It turns us both on, but he really gets into it. He is quite large and his hand pretty much covers my ass. He also gets a little carried away from time to time, so I thought that a paddle would be the answer.

We got our first one and it worked out really well. It is a little flimsier to this one and this one makes a louder whack as it smacks your ass. Sound effects are GREAT! It is 12 1/2" long and 3" wide at the paddle. It is made of leather with metal studs on the handle and the bottom third of the paddle. It has 3 raised hearts in the leather above the studs. It's very pretty to look at. He would have preferred it be black, but I am thrilled with the way it looks, so dainty and pretty. Don't let that fool you though, it packs quite a sting. It has a loop of leather string attached to the handle so you can slip it around your wrist for better control. I think that he is beginning to like pink a lot more.

It comes packaged in a plastic sleeve that works well for storage, or it's pretty enough you can just hang it on the wall. We ride motorcycles and I found that you can just wipe it with a damp rag, wipe it dry, and use a leather wipe to spiff it up a little. They are great for keeping leather conditioned as well.

This would be a great paddle for beginners, but I think that it packs enough of a smack that more experienced users will like it as well.
