Put Your Hands Behind Your Back

These handcuffs are heavy professional quality cuffs, worth the money for anyone with the budget, but do not expect these hand cuffs to double lock. Judging by the context I think the description may just be a typo.

My fiancé and I have always been very turned on by bondage and role play, but until now have never owned a pair of hand cuffs. We’ve spent many nights wrestling with knots sliding around and then cutting off circulation at the worst moments. When we finally learned how to keep knots from slipping we had to cut the rope to get down. After that experience we knew it was time to get a pair of cuffs. So I got online looking for the best and I chose the only pair of cuffs that advertised having a double locking feature. Having never owned a set of handcuffs before I had no idea what this double locking feature was and was looking forward to finding out. Being a bit impatient I began to browse around online to figure out what double locking meant. Apparently it is a safety feature that locks the ratchets of the cuffs in place to prevent them from getting any tighter.

When the cuffs got here I took some time just to observe them. They were very heavy and obviously quite durable, but looked a bit different than in the picture. Mostly the chain just seems a bit longer. There are the same amount of links as pictured, (2) but they seem a bit longer as do the pieces that connect it to the cuffs. Still even with the cuffs in my hand I couldn’t figure out how to double lock them, so I turned back to the web for answers on how most cuffs double lock. What I found out was these cuffs do not double lock they just come with two keys. At least if they do I can’t figure out how. Though I think this is important to know, I do not think this makes the cuffs bad because it takes quite a bit of pressure to tighten the ratchets.

While these won’t entirely replace the need for rope, or fabric cuffs, they are fairly versatile and take up almost no space in the toy chest. Whether you want to be tied to a bed or just have your arms restrained, these high quality cuffs will not let you down. I would recommend these cuffs to anyone who has experimented with BDSM and already knows their pleasures and limits, because these babies are strong and have no quick release. Some people may experience slight bruising but I believe even when playing quite hard most people will only experience slight soreness without bruising.

I would guess nickel plated steel but I can't find any real information to base that guess off of. I searched on the box and pipedreams web site and still can't find an answer to your question. I'm just guessing nickel plated steel because many other handcuff directed to the public for adult use in the same price range advertise being made in this manor.
