I've always been frustrated with the absence of handcuff points on my bed. Rachel's bed spread with cuffs was exactly what we were looking for. When I stepped back and looked at my girlfriend sprawled out on her back, tied to the locking mechanisms, I knew the product was a good choice.

There are two straps that lock around the bed creating handcuff points. You can either tie on your own restraints or snap the included wrist and ankle cuffs into the clips provided. Plastic sliders and buckles make it fully adjustable. The 18' straps should be large enough for any bed - they're certainly more than adequate for my regular double.

I wouldn't say this bed spread set is the most secure restraining system around - my girlfriend did eventually manage to wriggle out of it when she'd finally had enough of being teased - but it's fine for the novice. With the cuff fastenings being made of velcro there are no keys necessary so those of us with absent-minded partners can breathe a sigh of relief!

Whilst the black and red (or blue) straps are distinctly non-sexy in appearance, being made of ugly nylon, they are strong and allow the product to be offered at an affordable price. Whilst leather straps may certainly help to create an erotic fantasy dungeon, I'd hate to think how much such a set would cost!

The comfy cuffs are just that. They're made out of the same course weave material but lined with foam to make them feel soft against the skin. This meant my partner couldn't cry discomfort as a trick to get me to set her free - she has done before with metal handcuffs.

The kit includes leg extensions which allow you to lock your partner in all sorts of interesting positions, or you can cast them aside and have your partner lying flat and accessible like a starfish.

The instructions suggest you tie the straps around the entire bed whilst the diagram that comes with them pictures the straps around just the mattress. The choice is yours and depends entirely on your style of bed (and the amount of junk stored under it!) but I will say this, when you secure the straps around the mattress alone, your captive will have much more freedom as the mattress will bend to accommodate their wriggling, so if you're feeling stern, it might be best to lock the straps around the base too.

The set does take a while to get on and off the bed but you could conceivably leave it on with one strap underneath your pillows and the other towards the foot of your bed. There's also the option of leaving the lower part of the straps under the matress/bed and tucking the upper portion beneath the bed when not in use, thus saving time in the event of a spontaneous bondage impulse.

This is the first bondage and fetish item we've tried from Eden Fantasys and we've given it A LOT of tries! We're very encouraged. We had so much fun that we're very keen to try other products from this section.
