Kit + Sale Pricing

So I've been lusting after one of the Lelo cuff/ties, like the Etherea cuffs or boas, and getting the matching blindfold as a discounted set.
Right now, all the cuffs and ties and blindfold are on sale. However, when doing the "buy together as kit" option, it only offers the full price item and the discount as the set. Not the discounted sale price of each item plus a discount for purchasing as a set.
I was wondering if this is usual or if it's just how the website is displaying it? Any ideas?
Edit: I see now it does say sale pricing is not valid on kit pricing...
Sooo my new question is what happens when both things on sale end up cheaper than the kit price? If you get them both does it automatically count as a kit?

Grrrr!!!! I fucking REALLY WANT THIS. It's the only blindfold on EF (or most other sites for that matter) that I like the looks of and yet I keep reading about the same issues. Part of me wants to get it and just hope for the best, but realistically I am sure I would have the same issues.

Okay so I just got a measuring tape and my branium is 21 inches around the brow. Do you think this might not give me a migraine? I know you said 22 when not stretched but it's hard for me to imagine what it would feel like since I've never held one of these in my hands...
Why oh why did LELO not make this simply a tie-on blindfold? My forehead is also 23 inches around. And I get migraines. While there is no need to worry about cutting off circulation to the brain since it gets its blood supply through the foramen magnum at the base of the skull (where the spinal column, spinal cord, and blood vessels pass through), this would definitely cut off blood flow around the temples and to the scalp, resulting in a terrible headache. What a mood killer! *Sigh* And I wanted this so badly . . . Okay, heartbroken rant over.

@Sex, Lies and Law - You should probably be fine, since it's 22 inches completely unstretched. A friend of mine removed the elastic from hers and she says that, while it slides more, it's still gorgeous, and comfortable.
@Selective Sensualist - I knew that about the brain. I was joking about brain damage and losing circulation. =D As for the tightness, I've heard of people modifying it, and/or removing the elastic without much issues in aesthetics or functionality. I'm guessing LELO put the elastic in cause silk is slippery. It's just way too tight. :/
