Rubber whip review
Most sexually adventurous vegetarians and vegans know that finding quality animal free BDSM products is no walk in the park. I was happy to find such a pretty and devious looking whip that is devoid of animal skin.Published: March 4, 2008
Pros:
Appealing design; variety of sensations; easy to clean; vegan.
Cons:
Slight odor.
Toys that vibrate, tantalize, and work you inside out on their own are lovely, but there is something so wonderfully primal about a toy that truly takes two to tango. You could, of course, attempt whipping yourself, but what fun is it without the surprise sting of a few hundred tendrils?
Most sexually adventurous vegetarians and vegans know that finding quality animal free BDSM products is no walk in the park. The cutest and most enticing of whips, crops, collars, and gags are all made of leather. I was happy to find such a pretty and devious looking whip that is devoid of animal skin.
The design is fresh and striking. Bright colored rubber tendrils cascade out of a large wooden sphere and plastic tube. The handle is the clear tube itself; it is the perfect length and width for grasping. When you begin to get overzealous punishing your partner, the two wooden balls on either end of the tube come in handy to avoid letting the whip slide right out of your hand. Further precaution was accounted for in the design with a small nylon wrist strap dangling down from the back of the toy.
My favorite thing about the whip's handle design is its resemblance to a horse's bit. The handle’s material warrants some exploration of this idea. I eagerly placed the handle in my mouth and bit down hard. No marks were left on the surface by my teeth to my surprise. This other use of the toy was made more exciting by the fact that my partner can grab hold of the whip end as well as the nylon strap and ride me like… well a horse.
The Rubber whip itself provides a wide variety of sensations. It is wonderful for tickling and teasing; the narrow tendrils feel like hair when they drag across your skin. Light whipping provides a slight sting – perfect for beginners. Hard play with the whip yields a great sound as it flies through the air and makes contact with bare skin. Even the hardest crack from this whip provides bearable sting.
Overall, this whip assures plenty of sensations and uses, making it a very versatile and user friendly toy. I would recommend it to anyone looking to spice up playtime with any partner. If you are an experienced whip bearer, you may want to go for one with wider tendrils or even a crop. If you are new to whips, this item will be perfect for you; it’s easy to store and clean and is quite easy on the eyes and of course the wallet.

Follow-up commentary

This toy has remained a staple of the good old toy box! It had fallen behind my bed after a night of some solo fun and I was surprised the next day when one of my ferrets presented it to me! Imagine a fuzzy little critter with this thing in its mouth! I then found that it can certainly double as a ferret toy, but if you use it as such don't forget to clean it before you use it again!
I spend a lot of time smacking myself with it while I’m on the phone out of boredom and have been able to deliver some stinging blows, but not to an unbearable extent. It has turned out to be the perfect whip for me because no matter how hard my partner flails it only delivers a certain amount of sting.

Performance
I enjoyed this toy after a wax play session. My skin was warm and sensitive and the falls tickled and stung just a bit, depending on how the toy was used. That, however, was the only thing it was really good for in my opinion. It is too light weight to do much in regards to how a flogger is traditionally used and swung, and while it DID leave marks, they were fairly light and did not last more than a half an hour or so. -
no it shouldn´t i want one

Thank you for viewing Rubber whip – flogging toy review page!

hehe i like how you mentioned the pony play bit of the whip, one of the best things i love about some flogging toys!
If this is the same flogger I have, it is a great one. Is this the one that glows in the dark?
Unfortunately it doesn't look like this one is a glow in the dark, but that would make night time play alot more fun!
mmm a glow in the dark flogger! That would be just as cool as my glow in the dark butt plug! i'd definitely buy one if or when it does exist!
Are the tails soft? The picture makes them look so...
The tails are relatively soft, when you run them gently along your skin it really doesn't feel like rubber
Yummm - got this one on my watch list! Lol @ ferrets ... cute.
