Fur slapper - paddle by Spartacus - review by Airen Wolf

Having discovered the joy of spanking I am always eager to try new shapes and styles of paddle. Sometimes a bit more eager than either of my guys to tell the truth! I bought the Purple Fur Line Paddle by Spartacus and I really loved the dull, thuddy whallop it gives. The thinner Fur Slapper doesn't have the width to spread out the impact and gives a more concentrated impact. It hurts soooo good!


The Fur Slapper measures in at 12 inches in total length and 2 inches in width with the padded area being 5.5 inches in length and 2 inches in width. The handle has a graceful curve to it but it doesn't dip inward much, as it still measures at about 1.5 inches. This makes it perfect for any size hand.

It is composed of two pieces of heavy leather sewn firmly over a piece of reinforcing spring steel. This lends flexibility to the paddle and makes sure you won't accidentally bend the handle and crease the leather. The stitching is even and actually adds to the look of the toy.

The fur is soft and has a pretty long nap to it, and it is securely attached to the paddle where the stitching runs through it. The bottom of the fur swatch is glued only, so the user should be careful to keep fluids away from that area during use or cleaning. The purple color is bright and appealing.

There is a metal ring through the handle where the leather wrist strap is attached. The strap is long, easily 12 inches, and lends itself easily to hanging the toy for storage. The leather is fairly high quality and won't shed, ravel or fray for a good many years.


Cleaning this paddle is as easy as a wipe down with a damp cloth, or a commercial toy wipe. The leather wouldn't take to kindly to being wet too often so be sure to dry the paddle well before storing to prevent mold and mildew. A good commercial leather soap can condition the leather and keep it supple and soft. Use sparingly especially if you tend to play rough as the soap can be a bit irritating to tender skin. Store the paddle out of direct sunlight to prevent the leather from splitting and degrading.


The fur side of the paddle delivers a solid thump without much sting. Turn the paddle over and you'll have your victim screaming in delight in no time! The leather side delivers a sharp sting and a loud sound, in fact it is necessary to keep in mind that this side of the paddle hurts and can leave welts. This is perfect for those who appreciate some lovely marks after the fact but should serve as a warning for those who don't. The paddle weighs in at only .2 pounds meaning that your wrist isn't going to get tired quickly and the sessions can go on as long as you desire! The fur is nice for breaking up the pain with some soft stroking, or you can use the soft stroking as a warning of the incoming pain...such a lovely range of possibilities!

I was worried at first that the edges of the fur side of this paddle might cxome off with use and over time but I was proven wrong as the edges on my fur slapper are still sealed tightly. I haven't needed to reglue or fix anything on the slapper and it still looks amazing.
