Safe, Soft, and Satisfactory

somewhat useful review
It's true. This is a Beginner's Kit. It works well for people who want just a hint of restraint and not the full experience of bondage. It's very cuddly around your skin and can provide some fun, but I imagine most people would desire to move on to something more advanced pretty quickly.
Pros:
inexpensive
soft feel
easy to use
non-intimidating

Cons:
basic
less effective as a restraint

The Beginner's Bondage kit includes 4 straps and 1 blindfold. I was looking for a bondage set with a blindfold and this one runs pretty cheap. When I got it, I was excited because it was very soft. The cuffs of the straps and the blindfold material is a velvety black material. It definitely feels smooth and comfortable on your skin, and there is no pain from straps digging into your skin. The straps and blindfolds are all very easy to use. The blindfold uses an elastic to slip over your head. The cuffs slip over your wrists/ankles and pull tight with Velcro, and the straps are able to be tied to anything of your choosing. Also, I felt the straps provided good enough length to tie and give some distance. They worked well with a bed frame - one for each corner.
Although, I found the kit did not provide me with the full effect. It was too easy to use, and too soft.
The blindfold elastic was not tight enough for me and so it was easy to slip out of accidentally. Also, the straps, while I did not break out of them accidentally, I had the sneaking suspicion I might. The Velcro cuffs just don't seem that strong. I also did not like that the straps had to be tied, because if someone like myself (who can't tie a good knot) is using them, it defeats their integrity as a restraint.
I'd have to say that this kit is good for what it says "Beginner's" people who just want a little light bondage play, and not for someone who might want a little more force to their fantasy. It definitely something I will continue to use due to the ease and quickness of it's application, but I will also be looking for more advanced items as well.

Too bad it's so easy to get out of, it looks like a decent set otherwise.
These do seem like a lighter/beginner set, but pretty handy for that. I'd be concerned about loosening knots later, if they were tied in such a way that they tightened up during play. Did you leave it unrated on purpose?
I accidentally left it unrated, oops! I'd give it a 3, maybe a 4, because it is what it says it is after all.
I don't think they would tighten up too bad, they're made of the same material as backpack straps and that stuff seems to be pretty wide and easy to tear apart.
