This gag makes for a great gag for all levels of experience. Even though it is a locking gag, the snaps at the front make for a great safety release in case something goes wrong during use. Since this toy comes with a 1.75 inch ball, it works really well for people with larger mouths. For people with smaller mouths, it might be a bit of a stretch, and you may want to see about buying a smaller ball separately.

I've found that this gag is really made for people with medium to large heads. I have a good friend of mine who is a very petite female, and she can still slip the ball in and out with no problems at all, even on the smallest setting. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, though. Since this gag has a snap front, it is easy to just interchange the gag type and ball sizes to accommodate different sized partners.

This is a great looking product. The chrome and metal fixtures mix well with the leather and silicone, and can really take the words out of someone's mouth. Personally, I only like toys that look good and work just as well, and this is gag is certainly at the top of that list. Having something that looks pretty is great, but if it doesn't work, why even bother?

The outside of the gag is a stiff leather, however, the part that lays against the skin is really soft. It's well finished so there isn't any excess friction on the wearer's skin. Also, I've had my gag for 3 months now and it still has a very lovely leather smell to it.

The leather around the edge of the ball is a softer leather than the rest of the toy, and feels good on the sides of your mouth.

There isn't any guess work involved with this toy, because what you see is what you get. It does work quite well as far as gags are concerned. The one part of this toy that requires some effort is when you are putting the ball back on the strap after removing it for cleaning. It can be a little difficult to get the ball back on the first couple of times but it gets easier with practice.

One of the great features this gag offers is that you can remove the ball and sterilize it after use. If you are playing with multiple people this is a great feature. You never know if the last person who used your toy was getting over or coming down with a cold or some other bug! If you are only using this with your partner it is still a good idea to clean your gag regularly. Germs get on the ball and it's not something you want to put in your partner's mouth use after use. You can clean the ball with antibacterial soap and water to clean it after regular use, or to sterilize it, or you can wipe it down with a 10% bleach solution or toss just the ball into boiling water for 10 minutes.

This gag comes in a clear plastic bag with a manufacture's tag on the toy. There wasn't any information for the care of the toy. I had to research that on my own. There is nothing discreet about a clear plastic bag though.

Having someone bound and gagged is a wonderful sight and can really give the person that is bound an added sense of helplessness.

If you are using a during play make sure that your partner knows how to signal if something goes wrong. Work out some sort of body language signal that the both of you know in order to prevent any unfortunate events from happening, such as dropping a keyring or saying "Un-nuh." loudly and as clearly as possibly through the gag.

You'll need to take special care when putting the gag on someone as you can snag hair and pinch the skin. I have really short hair so it is not too much of an issue for me but there have still been a few times where a few stray hairs got caught.,

You'll want to take special care when using this on someone with longer hair as it would be much easier to get the buckle tangled in with their hair. I'd recommend that when you put this gag on someone do it from behind them that way you can lessen the chances of getting tangled or pinching the back of their neck.

The silicone of the ball does offer a nice texture in the mouth. The edges where the hole has been made for the leather are smooth and well finished. I really don't get any taste from the silicone which is great since I don't want to taste chemicals in my mouth, which you would with rubber.
