Leather catmask by Cal Exotics - review by Lady Neshamah

A while back in a review I made mention that the women that played Catwoman back in the 60's where some of the first women that I had the hots for big time. I also have a few lovers that have a classic Catwoman fetish, as well as some that have a fetish for the whole cat girl thing as well. Needless to say I am more than happy to play with these fetishes and I do them a lot. Besides, it's just totally fun to play like that.

One of my Catwoman fetishists gave me The Leather Catmask because he felt that it was a lot like the classic Catwoman mask and it's leather. It's made out of soft leather. It has an elastic band across the back of it to hold it on the face and head. Even though it is found the the section of sex/kink shops where there is blindfolds it is a mask.

It does really look a lot like the classic Catwoman mask, but without the sparkles and 60s glitz. The leather is very soft, but I wouldn't say that it's a high quality leather. It's the kind of leather that you find in crafting shops, but not much more. The eye holes where a bit off on my face. Yes I do have a smaller head, but not that much smaller. It made it a bit hard to see out of, but with a few cuts and a modification I could see fine with it.

The weird thing with The Leather Catmask is that it says it's a blindfold you can see out of. Um, isn't that a bit counter intuitive? Or, it is for me. But I only used it with costume play and not even that much. I didn't find it all that comfortable to wear for more than a ten minutes or so, even after fixing the eye holes.

It's really to bad that The Leather Catmask wasn't better made. I know that my Catwoman and cat girl fetishists would have love this more if it worked better.

Yes cat masks are fun for those of us that pet play as cats. But trust me, you don't want to even think about going with the Leather Catmask. There is so much better ones out there. Even the ones that you find in dollar stores are better than this.
