Simple Seduction!

These beautiful nipple clamps are a great option for those who are new to clamps or enjoy lighter play. They are well made, easy to use, and very inexpensive. More advanced users might feel that they don't have enough 'bite' to them, but if nothing else, they add a little accessory to make your nipples even more beautiful! I'm very impressed with the quality and function of the clamps and would highly recommend them!

Use

Feathered Nipple Clamps from the Sex & Michief line by Sportsheets, are adjustable bull nose style clamps, with cute black feathers attached to the end.

These clamps can be worn during foreplay, and work great at teasing a blindfolded partner by sliding your body over them, with only the feathers touching. Not only do they work great for teasing, but they make an awesome accessory to a cupless bra or other sexy outfit that doesn't require a top. While these won't work well underneath clothing, they can be worn during intercourse and around your house if you plan on going topless.

This is a great option for someone who's new to this type of nipple play. Even without turning the screw and making the clamps wider, these are beginner friendly. Your nipple size and sensitivity will play a role in how these feel, but in general these seem more geared toward someone who likes lighter play or is just starting out.

Since these clamps have feathers attached to them, they shouldn't be use as clit clamps. If the feathers are exposed to moisture, they could become damaged and the results aren't pretty! So use caution around bodily fluids and lubricants.

These can be worn during couples play, but can also be used during solo time to enhance your experiences. If playing with a partner, be careful not to tug too hard on the feathers. While they feel very secure, they might become loose and come out over time, so use caution for that reason.

Material / Texture

These clamps are made from a few different materials; metal, feathers, and rubber.

The metal rates a 9/10 on the Eden material safety scale and is made from food-grade material, is non-porous, latex free, Phthalates free, and nickel free. It's a shiny silver color and has no sharp ends when the stoppers are in place. The metal is smooth and lightweight.

The feathers on these clamps are rooster feathers and are all black. They are very fluffy and soft to the touch, and the spines of each feather don't poke since they weren't cut before the tip. Some caution is needed around liquid and bodily fluids since that could result in your feathers becoming ruined.

On the tip of the clamps (where it presses into your nipples) and on the handle you squeeze to open them, there are these little black sheaths that cover the metal, protecting your body from a harsher bite. Rubber rates a 3/10 on the Eden scale; since the material is porous it gets a much lower rating. The rubber has a little drag to it, but in this case that's a good thing since it helps the clamps to stay in place. If you choose, they can be removed and the clamps can be used without them, but the feeling is way more intense and many users wouldn't be able to tolerate it.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

The look of these clamps is simply beautiful! The soft, black feathers truly adds a soft and sexy element to these wonderful clamps. Each clamp has two feathers attached and is very light weight and well made, though you might find that the feathers tend to shed a little bit. The end of the feathers is attached inside a small opening in the metal on the end of the clamps. The ends are fully enclosed and it's difficult to tell how they are secured. Slight tugging on the feathers didn't result in any type of movement from them and they feel very secure; however, I would suggest not tugging on the feathers since they might become loose over time.

The rubber ends of these clamps make them very comfortable to wear. They help the clamps not only stay in place, but takes away a little of the pain that the metal would deliver without them.

Thanks to the awesome design of these clamps, they are easily adjusted to fit almost any sized nipple, and will work even for those that have the worst pain tolerance.

When adjusting, you pinch the bottom of the clamps together and turn the screw clockwise. The screw forces the clamp to close against the end of it, taking some of the pressure away from your nipples. This is great if you're not sure how you feel about nipple clamps or have a very low pain tolerance. Even without turning the screw at all, the pressure isn't bad enough that it's going to cause a lot of pain. This makes it a great beginner toy and a great piece to use in addition to a costume, but will leave more advance clamp users feeling like they need something with more bite to it.

Once adjusted to your desired fit and pain level, you simply squeeze the bottom of the clamps, and place the rubber tips on either side of your erect nipple. Once you have it in place, you can let go of the bottom and see how it feels. If you find the pain to be too much, turn the screw further; if you find you need more pressure or they aren't saying in place well, turn the screw counter-clockwise.

When you're ready to remove them, make sure to pinch the bottom together before trying to pull them from your nipples. Just pulling could cause unwanted discomfort, so be sure to press the bottom together first, releasing your nipple from the grip of the clamps.

These clamps are a great size if you plan on traveling with them. They fit nicely in a small pouch or sandwich bag and can be kept in your purse or other small bag for when you're on the go.

Care and Maintenance

Whenever you have a toy that is made with feathers, you always need to use caution around any type of liquid; bodily fluid, lubrication, etc., since it could result in your feathers becoming damaged. Should you have a need to wash any part of the actual clamp itself, wiping down with a damp cloth would be the best way. I wouldn't consider this necessary unless something has gotten on the clamps.

These clamps are a nice size and will fit comfortably inside your nightstand, toy box, dresser drawer, or any place that you store your toys. I would keep them in a small bag or pouch to prevent the feathers from picking up dust and dirt and will help to keep them looking their best!

Though someone who knows what nipple clamps look like would instantly be able to tell what these are, someone who's never seen them might think this is one of those feather clips that you put in your hair as an accessory.

Packaging

The cardboard box that these clamps come in is far from discreet. The front boldly says, 'Sex & Mischief' on the top and 'Feathered Nipple Clamps' at the bottom. The background of the front is back and has an image of a topless woman wearing the clamps. Considering there's nudity, it's at least done in a tasteful way and doesn't seem 'raunchy' like some of the nudity on packages are.

The back of the box shows a small image of the clamps and gives a very brief, very 'vanilla' short erotic piece about a woman trying out her new toy and admiring her body in a mirror. It's something a little different that I thought was an interesting way to present the product. In the story, it pretty well gives you an idea on how to use the clamps, making it fine that no other instructions were included.

After opening the box, you'll find the clamps inside contained in a clear plastic bag. The bag is closed by a sticky strip that goes across the length of it and can easily be opened and closed. I wouldn't suggest using the bag for storage since the sticky part can catch the feathers.

The cardboard box is much larger than necessary for this toy and can easily be broken down and disposed of. The clamps can be stored in a small bag or pouch without problem.

Follow-up commentary
I love these cute little clamps! They have proven to be very well made, even after being used over and over again. As long as you're careful not to tug on the feathers, and use caution around moisture, these are sure to remain a beautiful addition to your toy collection for a long time!
