Synthetic fur isn't as nice as real fur. Not suitable for intense pain play.

First of all, this flogger looks gorgeous. The details, especially for a mass-produced piece of BDSM equipment, are quite good. Pink and black are my signature colors for my bondage gear, so needless to say I couldn't resist this gem for my collection. The pink fur falls are synthetic but still look nice and mix well with the black suede ones. You'd easily pay double if the material was genuine rabbit fur, so this is a good piece of equipment for the price.
As far as real-time use, I love this item as my warm-up flogger. The fur cuts the intensity of the suede falls, making it more of a sensual toy. I like to lightly hit my victim...er...submissive all over with this. You don't have to worry about mis-hits or injuries to sensitive areas. I let the falls cascade gently around the head and neck area. I also swing it between the legs of my sissy subs to tease them.
If more intense play is desired, changing up your technique can result in a heavy "thuddy" hit with the flogger. The handle has enough weight to enable a good swing and accurate overhead hit. The length of the flogger is good and even though I'm not that tall myself, I can still swing it and get the majority of the falls to hit together on my target. Bear in mind that you're not going to leave delicious marks on your submissive. This toy isn't intended for that. What is it that we have to say? Oh yeah...for novelty purposes ONLY...
For you more vanilla toy-buyers, I recommend this item for dabbling in BDSM and wanting to look stylish while doing so. Hell you can create a whole outfit to match the flogger then sensuously hit your lover with your beautiful new toy. How do you clean this flogger? Do you have to store it in a way to protect it from dust and moisture?
I just hang up the flogger after use. Typical leather care would apply for the handle, but I haven't had to do anything to it yet. I've owned the toy for almost a year now, and it still looks great. If you were using it with an unfamiliar partner and were unsure about germ/fluid transfer, you could lightly mist the with antibacterial spray and shake it out. The fur has retained its look and hasn't disintegrated over time, so that's an excellent sign.
I've been looking at this for some sensation play with my femme boy. It's so cute! Is the fur soft or is it that sticky kind of faux fur?
The fur is actually kind of silky-feeling. It's not that horrible stuff that falls apart into a million fluffy pieces. The fur falls do not have the backing exposed, either. I think it's wonderful for sensation play.
Great review. This is near the top of my list for floggers to get. It looks so appealing.
