Slow Building Sting

If what you want is a small whip for tender places or a light whip for long sessions, go for it. If you want a heavy impact toy, look for a different one.

Use

This is a small, light whip, but that very point makes it really quite versatile. Experienced users who want a warm-up and beginners who are getting a feel for their own sensation tastes may both find it useful. It's maneuverable enough that even someone who's solo can use it effectively. My favorite point, though, is that this is a light enough whip to use pretty much anywhere on the body, even tender areas like the breasts or even genitals that one usually can't risk an impact toy on.

Bottom line: someone who wants a serious flogging with significant pain isn't going to find this satisfying on its own, but it would make a nice little starter or some sharp variety in a larger range of whips. Someone who's more into sensation play or who likes a long, slow build may even find this their favorite.

Design / Craftsmanship / Size / Material / Features

It's well-made, though not the classiest whip ever. The handle is plastic. The falls are a nice suede, and they haven't been cleaned/treated/etc after being cut so they'll shed tiny dustings of suede for a while when used. This could be annoying or decorative, depending. The plastic and the small size mean that this whip is...well, there's no other way to put it, this whip is CUTE. It's small and cute, and if intimidating visual impact is important to you, this may not be one you want to use in public. It stands up to vigorous use, though, which is the part that was important to me. I find the light weight means even a smooth plastic grip is very sure, and the lightness makes it very easy to maneuver.

Performance

If you use this expecting it to be a heavy flogger or have an authoritative impact, you'll be disappointed. This is a specialty tool. I found it very effective and satisfying when used on tender parts or to reach angles a longer, heavier whip won't with precision, like inner thighs. It has a light sting in the tips, and the sting builds and lingers very nicely if it's used on one place for a while. It isn't going to mark the bottom much if at all, so if leaving marks is important, pick a different toy. If serious pain is important, this isn't the one for you. If having the bottom remember they've been whipped for some time is important, this should satisfy. It's also light enough to be used very heavily without injuring the bottom or tiring out the top. Just be sure you know what you're buying.

Care and Maintenance

The grip is easy to clean. You may wish to clean or seal the suede before using to help the shedding issue, and you will certainly want to keep the suede clean and conditioned with an appropriate product. It doesn't have a lanyard, so it can't be hung up easily, but it's small enough that you may be able to lay it out flat in a reasonably sized toy box or shelf.

Packaging

It comes in a handsome and fairly discreet box. In fact, the box looks a lot more sophisticated than the (cute) whip inside!

Personal comments

I cannot emphasize enough: if you want a heavy flogger, look elsewhere. (Really, anyone who read the size measurement should already know that!) If you want some variety, and something to produce unusual or unexpected sensation, this is exactly the whip you want. If you want a toy that would be hard-pressed to do any damage while you get used to using or receiving it, this is exactly what you want. If you want a whip that can be used for a solid hour and leave the bottom burning but only pink, this is it. Just be sure you know what you're shopping for!

Experience

Again, I found this really easy to use, even for extended sessions, and the top can swing as hard as they want without alarming a skittish bottom. From the sensation end, the light sting builds up slowly in a way that anyone looking for some impact sensation play may enjoy. The sting gets satisfyingly sharp when the whip is used directly on really sensitive areas like genitals or asshole, and personally I think that's where this whip shines the most. For tops who like making the bottom beg for it, the lightness of the whip could be a very useful tease, too.

Really, this whip lives up to its name: it's a sensual toy.

Great job on this review! I've been interested in buying it just to see how it is, but it's certainly not the sort of thing that I would go to for regular use.

That's quite expensive for 'small and cute' but I get the sensual thing. Thanks for the great review!
