Silicone removable small ball gag - mouth gag discontinued by Spartacus - review by ShadowKitten

I bought the Silicone Removable Small Ball Gag along with the Sinvention Silicone Ball Gag as a backup in case the other one was too big (I ended up accidentally getting sent the Aslan Silicone ball gag instead which was *just* the right size for me) but sadly it was instead too small for me.


Anyways, this gag is best suited for people with very small mouths and small to average sized heads (I'll get to that in a bit) and is used, as most gags are, by placing the ball in your (or your partner's) mouth, threading the two ends through the provided roller style buckle securely and moaning (or have your partner moan) feebly from a gagged mouth.


I'd say this is for beginner and advanced users alike but that it is limited by some of its design and performance flaws.

The design of this ball is the classic tried and true formula of a ball on a leather strap with some rings, snaps and a roller buckle thrown in for good measure.


The small 1 1/2" (in diameter) ball is situated on a piece of leather with two snaps that have the Spartacus design on the exterior side of them. The snaps are looped through some rectangular metal rings which are attached to separate straps (which are un-removable, unlike the center piece with the ball) one with the holes (11 total, starting at approximately the 14.5" spot on the gag, spaced .75" apart from each other), and the other the the rectangular roller buckle and 'prong' for securing the gag with the other strap.


I believe this product is made to last, but the design causes discomfort from the center piece which tends to dig into your face/lips due to the edges and snaps especially on someone with a very large head such as myself. The ball is too small for most mouths too in my opinion and certainly did not even come close to filling mine; although I couldn't close the gag due to it not being long enough. (I could almost reach the first hole)


Two small notes to make is that the silicone of the ball is more rubbery in texture and hard compared to that of other silicone ball gags I've used and the ball has the Spartacus logo branded on it which may be irritating to some.

As I explained earlier, this product did not work out for me due to it being too small both in the ball size and the length of the leather straps. The amount of logo use on this product was a bit of a turnoff too, I suppose I could live with the logos on the snaps but not the ball.

As well the ability to remove the ball is nice but pretty much the only thing I enjoyed about this product since it won't get much use.

Once I have the chance to disinfect it and sterilize it I'll be offering it to someone that maybe will get more use out of it than me although the size of the ball, again, may be an issue.

The ball is removable from the center piece of leather by un-snapping the two snaps and pulling it off, putting it back can be tricky but it is possible; because of this you can sterilize the ball as you would any silicone toy.

Because the ball is silicone you can boil it for a few minutes, use a 10% bleach solution (not advised due to use in a person's mouth), the top rack of the dishwasher with no soap or any other dishes as well as a mild soap and water or toy cleaner.

If the leather manages to get dirty the best thing you can do is take a very slightly damp cloth and gently wipe it off, but don't get too much water on it, especially the inside of the band (closest to the face) as it may cause it to crack over time or shrink.

The ability to take the ball out allows the entire toy to come apart allowing for easy storage as well.
