One of the best features of these cuffs is that they're so great for beginners. Each cuff is fastened with Velcro. After being Velcro-ed, each cuff comes together with a snap clasp. The cuffs are very soft and comfortable to be in, especially for someone new to kinky sex. However, be forewarned that the person you're trying to restrain can easily undo these cuffs themselves - it doesn't take much. It does provide the experience of feeling "restrained" however. The "Don't Stop" text written on them as well also provides a more "laid-back" feeling that will allow you to feel more comfortable with the idea of being in them.

While I may be pretty advanced with what I expect out of my restraints, they've proven very useful to me. For one, they're completely waterproof. For any sort of play in the shower or in pools, these cuffs are perfect. They withstand water without any sort of damage to the cuffs. I've completely submerged them with no inverse effects. For second, they're comfortable to wear. As common sense would assume, allowing someone to sleep covered in ropes could turn out badly. On the same note, my boyfriend enjoys being restrained while sleeping. These really are the perfect answer. He's been sleeping in them most nights lately, they won't cut off circulation, and I'm relieved knowing that, if an emergency comes, he can get out on his own.

The only downside that I'd give to these cuffs is the fact that they aren't meant to handle much force. They're great for beginners, but if you have someone that enjoys giving his/her all to make it out of his/her restraints, these won't hold up. However, as long as we've been using these cuffs, we've never strained nor torn them, so they do hold up quite well to regular use.

These have held up well. They've been in the shower a couple times since my boyfriend's new fetish is being handcuffed to the shower and being forced to sit in it. (It's different, but it's fun. :) )

They haven't started to show any signs of wear or tear. It's kind of amazing, really, since these cuffs were so cheap in price to begin with. If they only looked professional, these would be a dream pair of cuffs.

The restraints themselves will fit anyone with a wrist circumference of up to 10 inches, so it's a pretty big cuff. The cuffs themselves don't scratch the skin and are very comfortable to wear and use.

There's really no reason to clean them, but if you do get them near some sort of lubricant or something, you just need some warm water and some antibacterial soap. Since they're waterproof, they're ridiculously easy to clean.

The velcro holds up well to any sort of force. Unless the person can physically undo the velcro, the snap enclosure is more likely to break than the velcro itself. They're very well made, and my boyfriend still sleeps in them once and awhile. They've served us really well.
