Wrist restraints locking - cuffs by Spartacus - review by Angel deSanguine

My first thought when I took these out of the package was 'Wow! They actually fit!!'. I have petite wrists and have had major problems finding a good set of cuffs that are not too large, or made from leather so thick they cannot be tightened without cutting into the skin. With these cuffs, neither was a concern.

These restraints are leather and they are very soft, supple, and lightly covered with suede on the inside. They have that wonderful, warm, mildly arousing scent that brings naughty thoughts to the minds of leather lovers like myself and my husband. Upon putting them on, another nice detail came to mind; the width is just right, not too narrow, not too wide. With the restraints tightened, they are able to be handled very aggressively with no signs of wear, weakness, warping or giving out (we have had these for over a year and, even with regular use, this is still true.)

With the holes not being round, but being sort of oval in shape, the restraints are able to have a little give to them. They are actually able to be spun around, without having to be loosened. The leather used is thick enough that it does not pull or tear at the hole, as some cuffs do. And due to the suppleness of the leather, they do not rip or burn your skin when doing so. They are comfortable enough to spend all day in, and the jingling sound the rings make just adds to the anticipation of things to come. The only possible downside is they do not fit very large wrists. My husband's wrists are just slightly too large for them.

I love love love these cuffs and, secretly, I am a little glad they're too small to fit my husband. When I hear the jingle, I know what he has in mind!

These cuffs get frequent use in my household, so much so that I would have to say they are the second most frequently used item from the toy drawers. On my anniversary a little over a month ago, these were brought out once again for one of the more aggressive scenes I have participated in as a sub ( I am a Switch with very strong Dom inclinations). They held up beautifully. My love affair with this set of cuffs shows no signs of waning any time soon, rather, I think I may have found true love.
