Plushy Gear wrist cuffs are a great start for those looking to get into a softer, more gentler BDSM, as they look very cuddly and less intimidating then the leather or metal variety of cuffs. For those already in the BDSM world, they wont disappoint either, they may be soft and demur but the durability is excellent. They can be used as stated, as simple wrist cuffs, but I've also used them as ankle cuffs which turned out to work just as well. The clasps and D-rings allow ample opportunity for creative use with other bondage items, and they can fit right in with many other lines of BDSM products. Beginners or experienced, these cuffs can suit everyone.

Plushy Gear cuffs are black and pretty unisex in design. The material is very soft and plushy and feels good around your wrists, if you were to wear them around without being clasped together one could easily forget they were even there. They are thick, due to a bit of padding throughout. Velcro straps on the cuffs make them very easy to re-size and get on and off. (I have stated this in other reviews, the sound of velcro to some people may not be very sexy) They overlap on my wrists and i am a bit of a chubby girl, so people of most sizes should be able to wear these cuffs with no problems.

The two cuffs can be linked together with clasps that are attached, however each cuff has a D-ring as well. This allows for endless opportunity to attach the cuffs to other bondage toys, I own a lot of Sportsheets bondage products and these cuffs fit right in to the collection!

They are double-stitched and believe me,I yanked on these things like my life depended on it and there was no chance of escape. I was very surprised at how strong the cuffs were, looks can be very deceiving.

During sessions, I struggled and yanked at these cuffs and as stated before they had NO give, i felt comfortable and confident that I could pull at them all I wanted with no fear of damage. Unlike firmer cuffs they do not dig into your wrists during struggle, which for a softer kind of BDSM is a positive note. Those seeking cuffs that really remind you of their presence or leave marks will be disappointed, as the Plushy Gear cuffs are a gentle as can be. The clasps are so simple to link together and take apart that it makes transitioning positions quick and seamless in the midst of passion.

There is enough room between the 2 clasps that you could use the cuffs around a bedpost or other such object without straining the captive partners arms. If the cuffed person really does want to escape, with enough struggle you can manipulate your fingers to get the clasps unhooked,however its hard to do and without concentration and proper lighting you are very much at your partners mercy.

These cuffs are plushy and easy to clean; however, if you are using a lubricant or something very sticky it may end up sinking into the plushy material and staying there so I would be careful about that. You can immerse them in water so if worse comes to worse you can do a nice deep clean on them. The clasps and D-rings are an eye-pleasing polished metal and wipe clean with no effort at all, the cuffs are water safe for shower play.

As stated earlier I have been able to used these as ankle cuffs, however they may not fit everyone this way and they don't leave as much room in between as most ankle cuffs would. Now that I have my G-spot link (See other review), I don't use these cuffs for that purpose anymore. I am not into leather or serious hardcore BDSM so these are the only cuffs I feel the need for. They meet my needs in strength yet also in comfort and I would purchase them again if given the chance.
