The Passion Suede Flogger by Eden Toys is designed for a comfortable introduction to BDSM and impact play. This particular flogger will work wonderfully for beginners as it has a non-intimidating style and feel to it when in use. The suede is soft, but the falls are thick enough that they don't feel weak, while the handle is wrapped nicely in a red and black suede, and secured with two leather strips that have metal studs holding them in place. One side has two of these studs while the other has one, and it has a very attractive look about it. The red on the contrast of black is beautiful to look at.

The flogger has 30 falls in all, and the falls measure 9-3/4 inches long. The handle of the flogger measures 6-1/4 inches in length and 2-3/4 inches in circumference. The downside to this flogger is that it doesn't have a wrist strap, so the user will have to keep a good grip on the flogger when in use.

The first thing you should invest in is a suede cleaning kit, which consists of a brush that will brush the grain of the suede in order to remove dirt and debris while another side of the brush will restore that wonderful feel of the suede. It will also have a suede eraser, which will help in taking stains off of your suede in case something happens to the flogger. Another method of cleaning is plain vinegar. Using a vinegar dampened cloth, softly massage it into the suede where the stains are and allow them to air dry. Follow this method of cleaning up with the suede brush to restore the nap.

Never soak your suede thoroughly with water. If you need to, invest in a spray bottle to cover your flogger in a light mist and let it air dry. Never try to spot clean suede as this can discolor the suede and make it look spotty. Any excess water created using the spray bottle simply sponge it off with a towel or cloth and allow the toy to air dry. The suede should never be left out in direct sunlight or near other sources of heat as this could cause the suede to fade, crack or wrap.

You should never use chemicals of any kind on your suede as this will ruin the material as well. Hand soaps and dish soaps will degrade the material. Packaging for the flogger was minimal, as it came in a clear cellophane bag with a silica gel pack to keep moisture from ruining the toy. There weren't any instructions on care or use, but with this sort of toy things are pretty straightforward, and the cleaning can easily be found on the internet if this review isn't helpful enough for the user. Shipping was as always, very discreet. The contents were shipped in a plain, cardboard box and only had the shipping addresses on the postal sticker. There were no indications as to what might be inside of the package.



Once opened, the receipt was lying on top, but there's always one in the box somewhere. Along with the receipt, the toy was packaged in between air pillows to keep it from bumping around during transit. The shipping box, air pillows, and cellophane bag can all be recycled if you like. Overall, you'll never have to worry about Eden packaging something with the contents on full blast all over your mailer or box.
