MATERIAL ~ FUNCTION:

The Impressions SLUT Paddle is designed by Sportsheets using genuine black leather, paper, nylon cord, and metal. The leather has a slight rough texture on the top side (where the cut out is located) and smoother on the back. Both have a mild sheen. So that the paddle can be hung up, there is a metal ring in the handle which is then threaded with a 5” length of black cord. The handle is 7 ¾” long and 1 ¼” (at the narrow section) with what feels like a piece of solid timber between the two layers of leather. This prevents this section from flopping around while in use. The end is round, narrows down where held and then flares out again at the slapper end. With a round end, your hand is less likely to slip off the end while delivering a good spanking. Not only are the two layers glued together, but there is also black stitching around the outside edges of the handle area.
The actual slapper end is 4 ¾” in length with a width of just over 2” and features two pieces of leather that aren't stitched or glued together. This allows them to make a loud flapping sound when hit again the skin, or even when waved in the air. Cut into the top layer is the word SLUT spelt backwards. This is so the word is readable if an impression is left on the skin. Between the two leather layers is a thin piece of red paper, so the cut out word stands out.
The external leather has been painted (and no doubt treated), as the inner side of the two pieces are a soft and fury grey shade.
There is a slight leather odour, but nothing real strong and only if held up to your nose.
This cut out SLUT word is suppose to leave a clear impression of the word on the receivers skin. Or turn it over for a solid rectangle red patch. It sure does leave an impression, but the S seems to have some trouble making a mark. I believe if the slapper end was longer and the letters started further away from the handle, you'd get SLUT instead of LUT.








USE:

Anyone who is interested in feeling some middle of the road bite from their paddle, this one works a treat. It's not going to stand up to a lot of heavy BDSM spanking, as it will bend and crease. But it's perfect for those who are into light punishment or are still figuring out what they like. When spanking your partner, never hit any areas of the body where delicate organs are located. Avoid the spine or other parts that don't have a good layer of padding to protect bones and veining. The best places are the buttocks, thighs (inner thighs are too sensitive to some) and breasts. Be sure to take it easy until you learn your victims limits.


CLEANING ~ PACKAGING:

If your paddle ever requires a bath, wipe it down with an anti-bacterial (be sure that it has no harsh chemicals) wipe or a slightly damp cloth and mild soap. Be careful not to get the paper wet at all, as it will tear or at least look unsightly with a water mark.

It has been awhile since I bought my paddle, but I believe it came loose in my package and it had a small cardboard piece attached to the handle. It had the company's name and very little else. Either hang the paddle or lay it flat so it doesn't form an unwanted curve.
