So I anxiously awaited the arrival of this new kit in the mail. Once it finally got here, I quickly opened the box in order to surprise to my sleeping partner. The package itself was the 1st thing I noticed, and realized the pictures on the box were of girls in the 80s or so. Back when big hair was hot, and men in short shorts were major hunks. Now I know that saying "don't judge a book by its cover", so I continued to open it up and look past the cover.

Well, I quickly noticed it was not the greatest kit. All the restraints were made of the cheap fabric they use for backpack straps, and cheaply sewn Velcro, including the whip. The only thing that wasn't, was the blindfold. I've gotten my younger family members better blindfolds that were "sleep masks", in kids "beauty kits". This one barely covered the eyes, and only blindfolded you from seeing straight, you could see everything going on above and below the masks.

So I didn't want to let the quality ruin the moment I already set, so I just continued on. I went to separate the restraints, to put them together and on her, only for 1 to become undone. The Velcro fell apart right off the restraint cuff, so the 1st one didn't work out like it should, so then I'm left with 3 restraints to use. This would work great if she was missing a limb, but not for us. I then took my time on the other 3, taking 3-4 mins each to undo them, and set them up.

So finally everything was going well, however this quickly turned as the time passed. The restraint straps (being that backpack strap fabric), after a little friction it started burning and hurting her. So instead of being able to quickly untie her, I had to take my time undoing the cuffs.

Then I had to go find a pair of scissors. The straps that are attached to the cuffs are made of that same material, and about 2-3 feet long each, so in order to tie them you have to basically tie them in boy scout/fireman style knots for them to stay tied. However if you can't untie the knots, the only other option is to cut them.

The whip was the only decent product in the set, and even it had flaws. It was made of the same material as everything else, and was basically 4 pieces about 1/4" inch wide, 6inches long, sewn together. Now don't get me wrong it had a nice sting/sound to it, but it was very flimsy and didn't also get in a nice smack.

The set may be a good one for a gag gift, or a beginner set for someone on a budget, but save your money for something a lot better in quality and that can function a lot better; as this would be a waste of money. I will be putting it back in its packaging and setting it aside.
