I would recommend this whip to any beginner looking to give (or receive) a good spanking. The black and blue strap whip was my first whip and was pretty easy to use after a little practice. On the other hand I would not recommend this to advanced users of whips and floggers, because after several sessions the straps began to split.

The black and blue strap whip is made up of two layers of soft suede leather. The inner layer is black, while the outer layer is blue. This makes for a beautiful whip, with a major design flaw. As I mentioned previously, the straps were held together with a soft glue that allowed them to split after several sessions. The whip is made up of the two pieces of leather wrapped around a small core, and held in place with five rivets. The rivets are small enough that they do not interfere with use, and the small core keeps the weight of the whip down so that it is easy to use without your arm getting tired. The end of the handle is wrapped with black braided leather and holds a D-ring that allows you to hang the whip for storage.

The black and blue strap whip is great for teasing, tickling, and whipping. The suede straps can lightly caress your lovers skin, or deliver a sharp smack if they've been naughty. The pointed tips on the straps will sting and bite your lover's skin, and the body of the straps will deliver a pleasing slap. After a few swings, your lovers skin will start to show little red lines as evidence of punishment. When you aren't whipping your love, you may want to tease their skin by dragging the straps lightly across their body, watching them twitch as the soft suede tickles them into arousal.

The black and blue strap whip is made of genuine leather, this means don't get it wet. You will want to hang it by the D-ring when storing it, but if that is not an option, you can lay it flat in a drawer. I would not recommend getting any bodily fluids, lubricants, or cleaning solutions on it, because suede leather gets hard and rough after being wet. If by accident something did get on the whip, I would only wipe it down with a damp cloth, and only on the smooth side of the leather.

This whip came to me in a small, clear plastic box, folded in half. I was worried that this fold in the straps would be permanent, but after hanging it for a while, it started to straighten out. there was nothing fancy about the box, just the labeling. I would not recommend using the box for storing the whip, as it has to be folded in half to get back in the box.

Even though it takes a little practice for first time users to get the hang of effectively whipping someone, it is well worth it. On another note, the straps that split did not impede the performance of the whip at all, and I plan to continue using this whip for a long time to come.

At first I practiced with the whip on myself, learning how it swung and how it felt. I don't want to injure myself or my partner, so I tested lightly at first, then gradually let the whip hit harder. After I was fully satisfied that I wouldn't injure my partner I played with him. I teased and tickled him at first then, I explored how whipping him worked for us. I found this to be a good value for the price.
