Special order studded collar - bondage toy by Spartacus - review by Arron

Originally when I selected the Special Order Studded Collar by Spartacus, my mind was racing with ideas. But after a while, the only thing I could think of was bending my girlfriend over the side of the bed, taking her from behind, pulling hard on a leash, collar around her neck, her back arched, her fragile wrists cuffed together. Oh yes, I've got plans for this baby.

It arrived in the mail promptly. I tore open the box, eager for my new collar. It wasn't really everything I had expected, but I'm not complaining. As far as looks go, this collar is pretty bad ass. It's fashionable enough to be worn in public but still sturdy enough to be worn in the bedroom. I got the one with pyramid studs on it because I have a belt that it matches perfectly. I guess I've got a theme going. If you're not into pyramid studs, it comes in round and rectangular, as well. Options are always nice.

Lets talk about comfort and quality for a bit. The leather isn't exactly the best in the world. I feel like it would start to hurt after being worn for a prolonged amount of time. It's kind of scratchy and stiff on the inside, not to mention the sharp back side of the studs. They have the potential to cut the wearer's neck if they were accidentally bent the wrong way. Speaking of which, the studs and buckle probably could have been made out of a higher caliber metal. It's not like it will break or anything, but I'm allergic to cheap metal, so it's something I like to keep an eye out for.

When it comes down to it, I do like this collar and I can't wait to get some good use out of it. It's not my new favorite thing by any means, but I'm going to give it a chance. I'd recommend it for an introductory collar or a great addition to a kinky costume of sorts. Pretty cool, huh?
