Superstrap wrist cuffs by Cal Exotics - review by Layla

This is, without a doubt, is one of the worst pairs of wrist restraints|Superstrap wrist cuffs that I have ever encountered. They are made out of a flimsy, cheap leather, that sheds mysterious black flakes whenever put under any sort of stress. For this reason, I only used the cuffs briefly because I was concerned about what it would do to my skin. As it turned out though, they weren't even worth the time I gave them.

The construction is very flimsy as well. Each cuff is made out of a wide and a narrow strap, and the narrow strap is threaded through slits in the wider strap. The narrow strap forms the closure with a pair of D-rings at the end. This makes them awkward to put on yourself and also makes the closure not very sturdy; it will often loosen during play. The narrow straps and the wider straps are not very sturdily attached to one another, so the bigger strap and the smaller strap will often slide around during play. Very distracting. Also, there is nothing enclosed in the package that could hook the two restraints together. There are D-rings on the side so that, if you have a connector clip, you can use it that way, but as is there is very little you can do with them. They amounted to nothing more than bracelets. I quickly switched back to my metal handcuffs for the rest of my scene.

The quality of the leather, too, was very questionable. It is very thin, and appears to not be able to stand up to much stress at all. Ultimately, I feel that this toy was utterly useless and I was very disappointed with it. Not only was it cheaply constructed, but it was nearly completely useless in play. You would be better off saving your money for higher quality restraints|Master suspension cuffs, or just making them yourself.
