The Good Girl/Bad Girl cuffs are a very light bondage piece. They can be worn connected or not, and were designed for visual pleasure as well as comfort. They are an easy to use item that will not scare off those who are new to exploring the world of BDSM.

Because these cuffs are so feminine and light I find myself holding back some. Because these cuffs are so light, and because they are visually beautiful they are amazing for beginners. Someone new to BDSM might want to feel safe and not have to wear a hardcore leather cuff. These offer both. The cuffs come off in a split second and are so feminine that most women would be willing to wear them at least once.

On the flip side, they can also be used for forced feminization and humiliation play very easily. While these cuffs may not fit heavy BDSM play (in the basic thought process), they will work well in everyday BDSM. Just unhook the chain and have your slave wear the black ruffled cuffs as an accessory.

The cuffs are made up of a faux leather material and look like your basic cuffs with a few new additions. They regular cuffs are edged with faux leather ruffles on either side. There is an adorable, and removable, chain attaching the two cuffs that is accented at the clips with a cute pink bow. The chain is not meant for heavy play, it is more for visual pleasure of the users. The quality resembles that of costume jewelry...it's good quality, but it just isn't real.

The closures on this piece are wonderful, especially if you're a beginner. The cuffs come with three snaps for the small leather strap to snap to for closure. In addition to this snap closure there is also a basic buckle closure on the other end that can be tightened or loosened as needed. The chains attach to the cuffs on a small metal D ring that is placed discreetly underneath the buckle closures. Now, while this is wonderful if you plan to wear these out without the chains, it is a bit of a nuisance while trying to wear the cuffs with the chain.

The width of the cuffs is only about 1.5 inches wide; this is a great size for someone with daintier arms and wrists. The cuffs aren't overly large or distracting. They are petite and feminine.

The cuffs are not a hardcore BDSM item, so use is limited to light use and even some beginner use due to the fact that the chains are not made to hold up to serious tugging. The cuffs are very comfortable, and I had no problem wearing them long term. In fact, they are so easy to wear that, if you want to, you can remove the chains and wear them as wrist cuffs (in the accessory form).

Now, I did connect these cuffs to my spreader bar, but I have to say that I wasn't totally confident in their ability to hold up to my tugging so I held back some. While being used lightly (some slight tugging and maybe a little thrashing...not enough to break the chain) the cuffs held up well. I am confident that these cuffs would be well suited for a beginner or anyone who is interested in just having the movement restrictions offered by being lightly bound.

The snapping closures on the cuffs are wonderful for fast escapes, and even allow the wearer to undo the cuffs when needed. This is good for anyone who would prefer to have a little more control over the bondage they will be in.

I store my cuffs in a bag with all my other bondage items, but be sure to keep them in a cool dry place for the longest lifetime possible. They can be wiped down with a damp cloth, should they happen to get dirty. Lay them flat to dry.

If you have no other storage options, the box is truly adorable and will work well for storage.

Oh Booty Parlor...let me tell you...

I love the Booty Parlor packaging. It is original, cute, and not at all trashy or cheap. The cuffs come in a lovely pink and black box that is shaped like a dresser drawer. It even slides out of the box like a drawer when you pull on the small pink tab of ribbon.

The box is non threatening, and most women might really like it. It would make a great gift box and is wonderful for storage solutions if you happen to need one.
