Yes, yes, I know that Fifty Shade of Grey is the new flavor of the month right now and is bringing a lot of people into the world of kink. And it seems that the kink and sex toy companies are flooding the market with all kinds of grey things or things that are tied to these books.

I ended up with the Sex and Mischief Tie Me Up Kit just for the fun of it. The set comes with a faux leather flogger, a satin blindfold and a grey tie.

So let me do a run down on theses goodies:

The flogger is crap. It's really poor quality and I would never use something like that on anyone ever. It is worth spending a little more and getting a nicer one for your collection if you are really going to flog someone. However, it is a good piece to use for show. It looks good. I had mine attached to a hat for a kink photo shoot that I did. It's now hanging in my office.

The blindfold is actually a nice satin blinder. It's shiny grey and it's very comfortable on. It really does block out the light very well. I did use it as a sleep blindfold when I was at a show and needed to block out the light to get some good sleep.

The Tie is also grey and has a bit of a cross hatched pattern on it. It is supposed to be used as a bondage tool, but it really isn't long enough to do much with it save for tie someone's wrist to a head board. But it's a very nice tie if you wear them.

You are much better off getting a good quality flogger. But the other stuff is more than useable for the things that they where actually designed for.
