Spandex open-mouth hood - hood discontinued by Pipedream - review by Curvy

This is a fun addition to the Fetish Fantasy line of kinky fun. The spandex stretch open-mouth hood is great for some visual sensory play. It allows only a fraction of light through so you can still hear and breathe freely. The best part is, his or her mouth is free for other things. In an unlit or sparsely lit room, this is great for adding in some mystique and, dare I say, even letting some of your own inhibitions go.

This hood is one size fits most. It fits me perfectly and doesn't put any pressure on the eyelashes, nose or ears so it's pretty comfy. However, it did not fit over the honeys head. But, he would not fit into the one size fits all category so it's to be expected that it would not fit him. It still made me a little sad though. It would be nice if there were an additional size for our big headed partners.

The design is fabulous, and the material (spandex) is light and airy. Initially when I looked at the hood out of the box, it seemed to have this odd duck bill point on the upper opening for the mouth. Then I realized it was to compensate for the nose. So while it might look a bit out of place out of the box, it does fit beautifully once on.

It is extremely well made, though we've not played much with it and it hasn't yet needed a cleaning. The material is spandex so use luke warm water, kneading rather than twisting or knotting it up. Also, use a mild detergent like woolite and rinse with cool water. Because it's spandex, lay it flat to dry so that it will keep its shape, and do not iron.

I didn't really notice any smell outside the fresh out of the box smell. It is soft, stretchy and breathable. It really feels nice on the skin. One size fits all, so if your hat size is a little larger than most, this might not be comfortable.

The Fetish Fantasy Spandex Hood did absolutely what I expected it to do. It lets in just a fraction of light so in a dimly lit room it works very well to impede the wearers view. All the while the wearers mouth is framed beautifully and available for other oral adventures.

The package is strong, though not discreet. What with the imaging, while attractive, gives the goodies away.
