Restraints by Sportsheets

No votes for this reviewI have enjoyed using Sportsheets Cuffs and Tethers, so I knew what to expect quality-wise when I ordered the Sportsheets Thigh and Wrist Cuff Set for review. I found the thigh and wrist cuffs to be a welcome addition to my bondage toybox, just as I anticipated they would be.
Each cuff has a rubbery neoprene backing which makes them very comfortable to use. The wrist cuffs close with velcro straps, so they are easy to quickly get on and off. Adjusting them to the perfect tightness for your wrist is also a snap. Rather than velcro, the thigh cuffs use a strap with a buckle arrangement, so you have to step into them to put them on. Once you arrange them to your liking and adjust the strap to snug them up, you’re all set. I found the thigh cuffs to be very comfortable as well. They easily adjust over a wide range of sizes, so they should be capable of fitting almost anyone.
All four cuffs have sturdy enough D-Ring attachments, which make convenient attachment points. Each of the thigh cuffs and one of the wrist cuffs also has a permanently attached swivel snap, so you can quickly and easily attach the various cuffs to each other as desired. The wrist cuffs also work well as handcuffs and ankle cuffs, so the number of permutations you can come up with to play with these cuffs is limited only by your imagination.
Be advised that these are not heavy duty bondage items, although they are very serviceable and should last a long time if you don’t get too rough with them. Because the wrist cuffs close with velcro, they would probably not be too difficult to get out of if not fastened too tightly, making them perhaps more suitable for bondage beginners. However, the wrist cuffs still can be fastened securely enough to make using them a lot of fun. The thigh cuffs can be fastened more securely than the wrist cuffs since they use buckles. With the addition of the Sportscuffs and Tether, you have the basic parts of a versatile bondage set with fun possibilities. One of the thigh cuffs could probably be used as a collar, although I wouldn’t recommend it for safety reasons since there is no limit to how small the thigh cuff can become by tugging on the straps. Due to the buckle arrangement, the two thigh cuffs also cannot be joined to make a single larger strap to fit around your waist, which is one possibility I had dreamed up before they arrived.
