Tingle - whip discontinued by Leatherbeaten - review by Miss Jane

The Tingle flogger by Leatherbeaten has definitely made an impact on me and everyone I’ve used it on. Soft, suede leather falls look and feel luxurious, while the hard black handle clearly says “I mean business.”

Starting off, this flogger is great for sensation play because of it’s velvety leather and hard plastic handle.

I tried this flogger on two other people, one male and one female, and had them both use it on me. Depending on the amount of force used, it can produce a range of sensations – a soft tickle, a light ‘tingle’ as its name implies, or a full-forced glorious lash. All three of us liked both receiving and flogging with the Tingle; it was easy to use and fun to be used on. We all had lovely pink-marked skin by the time we were done, but none of us had scratches or bleeding. The falls were soft enough to use on sensitive areas like the nipples (on both men and women) without crossing the ‘too much’ threshold (though it you’re into that, I’m sure you could just swing a lot harder). We even tried using the handle for a caning-like effect; it felt neat but it was a bit too short.

The suede falls occasionally shed little ‘fluffs’ of suede. It doesn’t look bad or cheap – it’s just what suede does. The leather is high quality and doesn’t have sharp or unfinished edges like some of the ones I’ve seen.

The only complaint I have about this flogger is about the handle. Since it’s so smooth, I think that if I was using it for an extended period it would slip if my hands got sweaty. However, they covered the slippage problem by adding a handy loop, that also doubles as an easy way to hang the flogger for storage.

I think this flogger would be great for those just starting out in flogging, because of the softness of the falls. Also, if you then decide you don’t like it, it’s still great for sensation play – blindfold your lover and drag it across his or her skin, etc.

Be extra careful not to get this toy wet, as suede stains easily.

This a great, quality product. Don't let the low price tag fool you - it's awesome.

I found this flogger quite easy to control in both accuracy and strength. It's lightweight and easy to swing or snap onto your partner.

When hit the hardest with it, the best way I felt I could describe the feeling was "like being punched in the back". Then the person flogging me punched me in the back. It didn't feel the same. When at a distance, the falls all hit in one small circle of stinging (awesome) pain. You can change up how it feels by moving further away from or closer to your flog-ee, using more or less force, and flicking or not flicking your wrist for a 'snap'.
