Crave collared nipple clamps - collar by Spartacus - review by sextoygeek

I am a very beginner when it comes to BDSM products, but after seeing the magnificent purple on this collar I had to get this. This isn't a very narrow collar, so it can be a little intimating for new comers, but the color is very fun and pretty so I think it can be enjoyed by all types of users. This is meant to be worn as a collar, so I'm not sure what else you could do with it. It has two nipple clamps attached as well, but those can be removed as well. I would not try to use then chains they are attached with as a leash as the split ring attaching them to the collar could come apart. There is plenty of room to attach a leash to the D-ring however. Here is a close up of the collar as I got it out of the package. I would say you could probably wear the collar out by itself if you wanted as well.

The collar is made from leather and it did not say it is vegan friendly so I would assume it is actual cow-hide. I do not personally care about this, but I know many people do and it is become a bigger market, so this would not be a good product for you if you are vegan. The collar is 1 1/2" wide and is very adjustable. The package says it can range to fit from a 12" to 18" neck. I feel that I have a very large neck, most standard size woman's necklaces are too small for me, and this fit loosely on the second or third hole (it has a belt buckle type closure). It should easily fit others who have large necks as well. Also, be sure to not have it snug when wearing it for play. The body does tend to swell so making sure there is room to stick two to three fingers in the side or back is a good idea. The nipple clamps are standard screw type clamps, which means they can be adjusted for as much or little pinch as you'd like. They do have a broad rubber-coated tip for added comfort. They are each attached to the collar by a 1 foot long chain. I had never used nipple clamps before, so I am still playing around with these, but they seem like fun. The only problem I had was they are a bit stiff and can be difficult to open. If you have weak hands these may be very difficult to open and close. Here is a close up of the nipple clamps.

This collar worked very well for me. Even though I have a larger neck it still fits very well and there are still notches to spare so I feel that this can fit almost anyone. Plus I have to keep mentioning the purple, it is a very lovely, deep, rich, color. It is a little wide, but as I have little experience with collars, I think I can easily get used to it. Overall, it seems very durable and well made.

For taking care of your new amazingly purple collar I would try to keep it wiped clean and store it in a dry place. I am not sure what type of metal the hardware is made from, but I would assume it is not stainless steel and can rust.

The packaging I found to be a little large and not at all discreet, but it does showcase the product very well. The back of the packaging also had a lot of information detailing the specifications of the product, which was nice. I would not want to store the collar in this packaging though as it would just take up too much space. Here is a picture of the packing.

Did I mention my favorite color is purple? You can probably tell. Overall I don't have much experience with this type of product, but I do have big plans for it and will continue to use it and play with it. I also had a hard time with the nipple clamps, but again I had never used any before, so I don't want that to deter people from buying this awesome product!
