This is the perfect little crop for teasing and a light cropping. Beginners will benefit more, but seasoned users will delight in it just as much. I recommend for couples and play partners alike. It can be used solo but not quite as fun.

I love the design of this product. It's cute, compact enough for travel, and pleasing to the eye. I love feathers and I love to be cropped so this is the perfect coupling. On one end are feathers and the other has a spade shape (meant to be a heart). The spade shaped crop end is black vinyl which looks like leather. It is soft enough to tease with and gives just a bit of pain when used properly. The stick/handle extends quite far into the spade shape, leaving structure, but not giving enough area (for me) for the "leather" to hit skin. It make much more sound than pain. The feathers are luxurious and vary in size on the other end. Deep reds and red tinted black make these some very tantalizing feathers. On my crop there were a couple feathers that looked like they had a feather equivalent of fin rot (fish disease, but it isn't noticeable unless you look at it really close up. I am so enthralled with playing with the feathers all over my body as well as running them through my hands and on my face. The handle is just long enough to make using this tool perfect. If the spade were bigger in size and a bit more rigid it'd be perfect little crop. From tip of feather (when straightened) to tip of the spade it is 16 1/4 inches. The spade is 2 inches at its widest point, and 2 3/4 inches long. From the point where the spade ends to the point where the feathers begin is 6 1/2 inches. I don't feel like I'll pull the feathers out unless I really try. Tugging pretty well on the leather does not make it budge from the handle. It's small enough it would fit between shirts in a suitcase or overnight back for travel!

The whole shebang!

The toy is great! I haven't had a crop in 5 years. (Mine fell out of the back of my truck after a horseback riding lesson where I used it - something about using it on my horse and then my lover turned me on.) The tickle it provides is light and very sensual. I tease myself just for the hell of it after a long hot shower. I love the feel of the silky feathers caressing every inch of skin - especially my inner thighs and breasts. The toy does not give enough of a slap for much more than light play. I tend to like more snap and a longer lasting mark after. For beginners or foreplay the amount of sensation it provides is perfect. My husband likes how light it is when I use it on him, as he likes a bit less intensity than I do.

This is very easy to care for as long as you take precautions. I don't suggest using the feather end with any type of lube or massage oil on your skin as it will get the feathers all messy. Feathers are difficult to clean. The crop end can be used with liquids on the body. To clean it wipe with a toy wipe or damn towel. Dry it after. I store it handing upside down so the feathers stay nice. Sometimes I leave it in a clear vase I keep on my nightstand. Standing up for easy access.

This crop came twisty tied to a decorative piece of cardboard. Roses and a shimmery heart adorn the cardboard front. There are no care instructions or descriptions on the cardboard piece. Just a UPC and the Sportsheets Inc. trademark info on the back. The front is very cute though, and would be a perfect Valentine's Day gift. It's hot, sexy, and already wrapped, kinda. There are even two little places to put "to:____" and "from:___".

Crop Packaging

I love this crop! Can I say it again? It's worth repeating. I love this crop! It has just enough slap to be fun without getting too deep on a light night. My husband gave me some good whacks with it last night. OMG so nice. It has enough sting to turn me on and make a light mark. I got so wet after he used it. With a light hand it makes a sting last about 30 seconds on me, no real mark. For a nice enthusiastic swing it stung for just over a minute, leaving a little red welt for about 5 minutes or so. Fun but light. This is part of why beginners should love this toy. It makes a satisfying sounds that is almost half the fun, but it's not so intense that you'll be bruised for days. I can't wait to use this again with my hubby (on him - which he has to be really aroused for) and also while I ride him reverse cowgirl as he crops me.
