The under bed restraint system by sportsheet is my first official restraint system and has served me well. The restraints work by being placed under the mattress and are hooked together in an I shape. The restraints are adjustable just like a computer bag strap or a child belt in a grocery cart. This allows the system to be used in any bed from twin to king. I personally have used this system in a twin bed and a queen and it preformed perfectly in both beds.

The under the bed restraint system is made of Nylon and Neoprene. Both of there materials are very durable and can with stand twisting and pulling. Neoprene is a commonly used material in BDSM products including harnesses and restraint system's. Both material's are synthetic making them easy to care for and requiring very little maintenance(soap and water will get the job done if you ever get fluids on them). I personally would not put this system through the washer or dryer as this sort of rigorous cleaning should not be necessary.

I found this system to be easy to use and felt completely at easy. The wrist and ankle straps are easily adjusted and are designed to fit people of all sizes. The inside of the straps are fuzzy and soft and will not cause chafing when your wriggling around. The straps are easily released by pulling the velcro apart and can be taken off the system that lays under the mattress by unhooking the metal clasp. There are no locks and if you tried hard enough you could get yourself out of the restraints with little to no pain.

For me one of the best features is the ability to hid this system without completely removing it from my bed,I can tuck the straps under the mattress. I would recommend this system to anyone who is interested in purchasing their first in bed restraint system.

Thanks for the review. I have something very similar to this from Liberator, but that was basically replaced when I got the black label esse.

Thanks for talking about the material, I haven't seen anything else talk much about neoprene.

    • What creative ways can you guys come up with to use this system in conjunction with tethers and hip restraints.

We'll start with a simple one, Hog Tie: Simply have the person on the bed or floor on their belly and attach the wrist restraints to the their respective ankle restraints (from the behind, as in the ankles should meet the wrist around the lower back area)

What creative ways have you guys used this system?
    • I haven't got this one yet - it does look like fun though :-)

We just recently picked this item up. (Well, actually bf bought it and surprised me with it!!!)

We've only used it once so far and it's wonderful. Nothing creative yet, but maybe when we get the hang of it.

Are the standard bed restraint systems, such as 'under the bed', one size fits all for different beds? Could I use this on twin mattress and king mattress?
    • Well, Backseat Boohoo's verified review says she used it on an extra long twin and mine is set up on an extra tall queen. I know some folks with kings have found it a big small, though.

      Beat me to it!

For most beds, I think they would work. They worked on my extra long twin back in a dorm room, and they work on the full bed I have now. But I might draw the line at a king, yes, unless you want to buy an extension strap.
