Have you ever been curious about tying up your lover like a present or tying them down to do naughty things to them? Then this tie was made for you! The tie is a light restraint item that's only limited to your knowledge of knots and your imagination. It's 10 feet long and made of super soft and slippery violet satin. The long length makes it easy to tie your lover up any way you want. I recommend picking up two or more for the full experience of what these pretty ties can do. Me and my boyfriend are what you could call "vanilla" when it comes to these types of things so this review is from a beginner's perspective. I found the Black Rose collection so gorgeous and nice looking that we both agreed that it looked sexy and fun and wasn't intimidating at all. Both beginner's like myself and advanced users will love these ties!

The tie itself is 10' feet long and 2 1/2" inches wide. I love the long length because it makes it so much more fun to use and you can get more creative with it. The tie is a bright violet purple which is my favorite color! The ends are sewn nicely and are cut at an angle which makes it easier when you're tying loops and knots. The satin is soft, silky, and cool to the touch. The ties (I ordered two boxes) remind me exactly of a bright violet satin bedspread that I used to have years ago. I think if you're careful and take really good care of the ties then there won't be any problems. But if you neglect them and let them get scratched and ragged then obviously it won't look so nice after a while.

The long length is great because it means that the ties are adjustable and can be used on anyone of any size! If you're more into heavy BDSM then these ties might be too light for you. But they're so pretty I see them more as visual eye-candy so it might be worth your while!

These ties worked great for us! We found a lot of different ways to use them. He had a lot of fun thinking of ways to tie me up and it was really exciting. I'm glad that it wasn't too intimidating for us. It was a new feeling so it felt a little awkward at first and we laughed a lot but it turned us on and was a lot of fun. The ties worked great and they really stand up to all the knots you can tie in them. They might get wrinkled but after you wash/dry them you can get the wrinkles out. Overall, these ties were exactly what I expected and what I wanted. I was really pleased with them! The satin is soft so they didn't leave any marks on me or make me feel uncomfortable at any time. I can get freaked out if I'm restrained too tightly (like with handcuffs and things like that) so these were perfect for me. I love them!

I wouldn't wash the ties very often because they don't really need it. But if you need to, handwash them in cold water with a little soap. I wouldn't put them in the washing machine even on low because they're just going to wrap themselves around/tie into knots. Hang them to drip dry or wring out the water and put them in the dryer with a dryer sheet on low. The dryer will not only dry the ties but get the wrinkles out. This is how I wash my satin robe and it works for me so I don't see why it wouldn't work for these ties as well.

After I'm finished using the ties I carefully fold them up and put them back into the plastic sleeves. I store both of the ties in one box. The box is so pretty that I kept the extra box and I use it to keep extra batteries in for my other toys.

The box that the tie comes in is 4 1/4" across, 9 1/4" tall, and about 1 1/2" wide. Remember, you only get one tie per box which is why I went ahead and ordered two boxes! The box is stunningly gorgeous! It's so classy and nice to look at. It's a high quality box with sexy images of a tied up woman on the front and side. There's black images up the side of black roses on a thorny vine. The back of the box describes the tie itself and suggests to "try something new and naughty." The tie inside is folded nicely inside of a plastic sleeve. There's a little packet at the bottom that keeps the moisture out like the packets they use in shoe boxes. There's also a simple guide describing a few ways to use the ties. The box itself is not discreet but the ties are. The satin ties aren't that obvious and they look like the ties from a satin robe or something. I don't think it would be too obvious what they're used for unless you keep the ends tied to your bed!





The instruction guide is pretty simple and gives you a few ideas. Anyone that already knows their stuff might find it completely useless. Newbies like me and my boyfriend found it interesting though. It gives you directions and a picture for the hogtie, the reverse hogtie, and the lattice tie. I found the pictures themselves were easier to follow just by looking then it was to read the instructions. It really doesn't matter how you tie it as long as it's safe and not cutting off circulation. I think everyone who is old enough to use these ties are aware of the basic safety precautions.
