Interchangeable crop top system by Sportsheets - review by xGOLDx

Of all the crops, whips, or paddles I have ever used, this is still one of my favorites. Not only do you get a range of sensations from it, but it is durable as all hell.

Being a vegan, cruelty-free products are the only ones I'll buy. Sadly, this means slim pickings for whips and the such, with even fewer options for quality implements. I was absolutely over the moon when I first saw this crop system because it was from Sportsheets AND no leather! When I'm looking for all things kink, I adore Sportsheets. I've got a real talent for breaking things and the products these guys make have so far been immortal.

The best part about this crop is that it has a FREAKING FIBERGLASS CORE!! Meaning that it is not only going to last you through the years with hard play sessions but when you are using it, you will get a nice, sharp snap on impact. This one definitely packs some power. I was so excited when I got home that I played around with whatever was around. In this case, it was a futon with an old school wooden frame. With a single hit, I left a nasty dent in the frame and the crop was the clear winner..

The only thing I was slightly worried about were the interchangeable tops. I loved the idea in theory; easily change from teasing to rougher play without having to lose momentum in the moment or buy a billion toys. But when the hard play comes around, I was worried that the tops would not stay in place, especially since there is no lock to secure them in. I was using both hands, swinging and flailing the crop around like an idiot to see if they would get loose. There was no issue here, I couldn't get any of the tops to budge out of place even once.

When it comes to actual play with a partner, the crop tips were very handy. Could use the feather to start out teasing, the heart to get the heat going while still being flirty, and have the narrow loop if I really wanted to be mean. And this crop sure is good for being mean, it left INSTANT welts. Since it is just faux leather, cleanup and maintenance is easy. A good wipe down with a damp cloth or sponge does the trick.

I completely adore this crop. It has survived so much abuse and looks like it did when I first bought it. I'm pretty sure it is immortal.
